For some reason, I can't get it to download to my Touch so I can read it offline.

I don't know why Logos doesn't just lower their prices on all books to make them more affordable. We are living in tough times. People are losing their jobs. Everyday low(er) pricing will lead to more sales in the long run. When prices are too high, people don't buy. Plus, it can't be good for Logos when people cancel their pre-orders and they are on

What would be nice is a little indicator that the server is down...
-
I was thinking of an error message that said "cannot connect to server" rather than just the yellow triangle. That could be written into the software.

Great work...thanks for the update!!

What would be your Desert Island resources list?
-
yes!

I picked up an old Thinkpad T43 (1.86 GHz Dothan/Pentium M Centrino, 1GB RAM, 40GB HD and Intel integrated graphics, Windows XP) and it runs Logos 4 quite well. Not a speed demon by any means but acceptable performance. Certainly better than my Asus Atom-based netbooks. I found it on eBay for $169--not bad for a five-year old machine that is built like

I already own the print version and there is no PDF version that I know of. My reason for rebuying would be to have it in Logos format.

I would love to see group buys implemented at Logos for existing resources (rather that just pre-pubs). For example, a resource can be placed on group buy for a predetermined about of time (say 14 days). Once certain threshold is reached, a discount would be applied. For example: 25 - 10% 50 - 15% 100 - 20% 250 - 25% etc. That would be a great way for

Hey, that is another good idea! A frequent flyer (er...buyer) club with pretty ID cards!
-
Those are certainly valid arguments. However, Logos does offer deep discounts via its tier system and that seems to be the primary way that people buy their Logos books. If people are willing to pay more for Logos books than their print equivalents, that is good for their business model. However, I am not one of those people. From the reading and research

Well, I guess if their strategy is working, there is certainly no reason to change it. I agree that Logos has created a wonderful product and if they are continuing to re-invest in technology, I am sure that will bode well for them. Of course, if you are making money hand over fist, of course you will become a target at some point as competitors will
-
I can certainly see paying a lot for resources as valuable as BDAG and HALOT because they get so much use.
-
Why is Logos book pricing so high? Case in point: Donald Grey Barnhouse's commentary on Romans (4 volume set). The Logos price is $94.95 (Suggested retail is $125.00). You can buy the same set in book form from CBD for $79.99! Why would the digital version be that much higher than the real books? I think that if Logos would lower their book prices,
-
I definitely agree that electronics formats are preferable to paper books. But I think I will still be using some of the bound versions until I can afford to replace them with the Logos versions since that seems to be an expensive proposition, especially if they are not included in the extant bundles. I may also buy some of the newer ones in ePub since

Are publishers still using it? Are new titles being produced? Will they stay with the 3.0g X engine or migrate to 4.0?
-
I would say to create simple layouts at first without too many resources open at once. Start with just two panes and increase them as you go. Concentrate on what you have open. Float the panels that you are using so that you can concentrate on them one at a time. Then, pick one tool at a time and work on mastering it. Then, increase the number of resources

It seems like all of the Community Pricing titles are essentially frozen. How long does it usually take to get them into production? How long do they remain on CP before they are removed? Just wondering.
