I attended a lecture by a Jewish Professor of Linguistics on this topic. Very informative and also gives insight to the tools used by the NT writers.
Do you find everything distracting?
Yes, it can be. Now I only read the home page on the weekend, like reading the weekend newspaper. A lot of it is like spam, there is a constant, relentless drive to promote another resource. Like any ad, on occasion I do see something of interest and purchase that, but it can be tiresome
I have a Lenovo x220 tablet (convertible) It has i7, 8 GB ram, 128 GB SSD, and so on. (Very snappy indeed) But I leave it at home and take the Dell to Bible study. The portability is worth more than any performance boost provided by the bulkier Lenovo. I don't want to do in depth, extensive study/research on an 8 inch tablet. However
We have an open case for this issue internally; I'll update it with a link to this thread.
My last two purchases have been very slow to be available for download. I expect patience is all that you need.
Just updated to L6, all new resources are there now. Thanks for the input folks.
Are you using Logos 5 (this is the Logos 5 forum but you could be using Logos 6 on Win 8/10)? I doubt the issue is connected with Win 10 - just try the command update resources .
L5.

The first of the missing resources were purchased March 16 and the last on March 22.I'll let you know if the resources appear.

Ok, I'll give that command a try.

I looked around for a Windows 10 bug list but couldn't find one. I'm using Win 10 TP on my desktop and made a few purchases lately. None are showing up in my library. However they are showing up on my tablet which uses Win 8.1. Just thought it might be useful to report this in. Any fixes or workarounds, gratefully accepted. Genghis

Hi Folks I have Logos 5 installed on a laptop (Win 8.1), and a desktop.(Windows 10TP). On March 16, I purchased E P Sanders' Jesus and Judaism. It has shown up on the laptop but not the desktop. Nor has any books I purchased on March 20. Using the Update Now command hasn't fixed it. Any suggestions? Genghis
I'm sure I don't appreciate the effort it would take to accommodate new hardware.
Since L4, it looks like Logos has put most of its resources and efforts into developing new datasets rather than adapting the software to accommodate the latest in touch technologies. MS has been doing a lot of trial and error moves

Microsoft's Universal Apps support both C++ and C# so the programme language issue no longer applies. It comes down to whether Logos sees any merit in supporting Logos on a 8" or smaller tablet or smartphone device. There are already tablets like the Surface Pro and the Asus Vivotab lines which support a full copy of Windows Pro that already allow Logos
