SDABC vol 4 has a table of the chronology of OT Prophets along with kings of Israel, Judah, and neighboring countries. My Logos version, however, has a graphic but no content. It looks like the title row was converted to boxes but the content is missing. Here's the Logos reference: [[Page 18 >> logosres:iv-vol4;ref=Page.p_18]] Maybe I am missing something

More information from a Mac user. After the first PB compile, I cannot recompile that, or any other PB in my library. However, I can add a new PB and compile it successfully. I just did about four new PBs in a row. This is true even if there is an unsuccessful recompile of an existing PB in the sequence. (I tried that just to eliminate a variable.)

I can confirm that none of the suggested fixes work for me, running on a Mac. Sorry, I posted details in the original thread, thinking this was a PBB Sync discussion, with which I have no familiarity. Can only do one Personal Books compile without a Logos restart

Thanks for the hint, but unfortunately it does not work for me. Here's what I tried: To verify the problem still exists, I followed my normal process. This 100% reproduces the problem. Start Logos 6 Tools > Personal Books Select a PB > Edit > Build book PB compiles and opens in a panel > Finished Close PB panel Edit > Build book Error I always work

When compiling a personal book, I use an iterative process of compiling, scanning the result for errors, recompiling, and repeat until it is to my satisfaction. (Sometimes it takes several passes to get the syntax correct.) This used to work, but some Logos 5 update broke the capability, and this has carried over into Logos 6. I cannot compile more

Thanks, Lynden, for this link. I found just the product on which to spend my $20 FAITHLIFE-GIFT coupon code from Logos. The Geography of Hell should keep me warm on these cold winter evenings!

Almost embarrassed to ask such a basic question, but haven't been able to figure it out. I'm new to using the Forums. I'd like to see only the new posts on the forums I'm interested in. I filter on "Hide topics I've read", then select "Apply and Save". The "apply" part works, but the "save" doesn't appear to work. When I return to the forum the filter

I see several notes files related to highlights on documents.logos.com, but I cannot find the specific highlight I'm looking for - the book is not identified in any of the three latest notes files - "Solid Colors", "Inductive", "Highlighter Pens". Nor is there a file with the title of the book I highlighted. But as I indicated in other posts, the sync

Thanks for the quick reply, Graham. It is working now, must have been a delay in the sync. But I am not familiar with documents.logos.com. Is that the same as document management on Faithlife?
-
Well, it is working now. Must be some sort of delay in the sync, since I opened the computer version of Logos the next day after highlighting on the iPad. At the moment the tablet highlights show up on the computer like I expected.

I was reading a resource on my iPad, and highlighted some test. I used a yellow highlighter, and also an "inductive" highlighter. I expected to see the text highlighted on my computer (Macbook Pro) when I opened the resource, but it was not. What should I do to synchronize highlights between iPad and computer?

Graham, thanks for validating my experience. The frustrating part is that in some cases it works properly and in others it does not. That kind of bug is difficult for the developers to find and fix. At least it does not seem to be dependent on system configuration, since you were able to reproduce it. [quote user="Graham Criddle"] [quote user="Andy

OK, so pasting an image into a post does not work. Let's try this again. [quote user="Andy Arkusinski"]My starting point. Hovering over H3117 at the bottom pops up the definition from VCEDONTW. My starting point. Hovering over H3117 at the bottom pops up the definition from VCEDONTW. Clicking on it takes me to the reference. I highlight the text in VCEDONTW and right click in the highlighted area, to get the following popup. I then click on Add a note to ... to create the note. I have since determined that (probably because of because of the

Thanks, Graham. I created the note the way you did. See my followup note below.

More information. This is from a different word. I start with the ESV for Zeph. 1:7. "Day of the Lord" links to Strong's H3117. A click takes me to VCEDONTW entry for DAY. A right click gives me two Reference tabs: Strong's Hebrew #423 and Strong's Hebrew #3117. I add a note to my notes document for each of these references. Each note is hyperlinked

I created a Notes file, in which I have a note linked to the an entry in Strong's Enhanced Lexicon. On the Mac (Logos 5) hovering over the note brings up a popup window, and clicking brings up the reference. But on iPad, nothing happens, even though the reference ( Strongs+h 3570 ) is blue which would indicate there is a hyperlink there. I have downloaded
