• RESOLVED - Stuck on indexing, 0%. Mac OS 10.11, Logos 6.9 B1

Stuck on "Your Library is indexing...0% complete" Has been this way all morning. Doesn't seem to be affecting anything else, but I know I need to get this fixed before I add any more resources. Im on 6.9 Beta 1, of course. Running Mac OS 10.11. I have restarted both Logos and the machine several times. Attached are my logs. Wasn't sure which ones to

  • Re: Styles
I'm really working on harnessing the power of Logos by using the notes and diagram features. My one frustration is text formatting. I'd love to have custom styles so I can quickly change font, size, color, etc. for different types of annotations. I'd also love the ability to custom name these styles (since I forget from

  • Re: Making the most of Biblical People Diagrams
My understanding is that: Double lines indicate a marriage relationship Double dotted lines indicate other relationships that bring offspring (concubines and 'surrogates') A red dotted line indicates an illicit relationship A broken double line indicates a previous relationship (usually ended with death) The arrow heads are
I was curious if anyone is familiar with the above commentary currently on sale. Has anyone found it useful or not useful?
They are pretty solid. I enjoyed the one on Romans. This volume, like the rest, has "Additional Notes" throughout. Here is an example: A word count of “righteous” in Romans is illuminating: the verb

  • Re: 6.9 beta 1: Visual Copy Send to Powerpoint partially broken

Mine functions as expected, kind of. Mine will import, but not at full screen. Not sure why that is. I'm on Mac OS 10.11 with Office 2016. PS: Mark, could you take a look at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/100269.aspx and answer a question posed at 11:30ish yesterday about the Biblical People Diagram markers. Me and the user posing the question

  • Re: When are preorders charged?
You should get an email once an item ships, stating that it is now ready to download and that your credit card has been charged.
And you'll get one a week or two before the release to confirm your payment method and to confirm the order is on its way to release.
Thanks for the quick reply, friend. Those basic symbols I understood already, from all the 'normal' family trees. But the one I asked about in the question, was the ARROWED one. This double-line / single arrow connects TWO WOMEN (couldnt have been a maritial relationship between them, in biblical times). Logically, in
Thanks, Myke. By the way, I am not familiar with the "drag & drop" procedure you are referring to. How does that work. You can point me to a tutorial if you know of one. Thanks again.
I don't have a video. However, it's pretty simple. Just open up the Notes document that contains your notes, and a new Notes document
I created a (static) resource collection for the Bloomsbury Bundle since I couldn't find one already done, either on " Logos Product Collections " or " Logos Collections ." I am a member of both of these FaithLife groups and wanted to "publish" my collection to one of these so that others could benefit from my hours of

  • Re: Duplicate a Note?
Yes, I meant an entire Notes Document. I was able to do it following Myke's directions below. But while were at it other than just a normal copy&paste operation, can you duplicate individual notes in a Notes Document?
As usual, Graham is right. You'd have to have both the old note open and the new note open, then

  • Re: Duplicate a Note?
Another question on the general topic of Notes. Is it possible to delete multiple notes in a Notes document at once?
No, you cannot. I wish you could. But there is no way to select multiple notes at one time, so you can neither copy nor delete multiple notes at one time. I have suggested this on several occasions
Just checked... I had a "sampler" book which I hid... it doesn't show up on my mobile app... however, it also no longer shows up in the store. I would bet that I proved my understanding, but not more than a coca-cola.
• Re: Making the most of Biblical People Diagrams

I believe the double line represents a marital relationship, or at least a relationship whereby offspring occurred. The single line is a sibling familial relationship. If I am wrong, I am sure someone will come behind me and correct me.
you could try using the HIDDEN BOOK feature within L6
I was unaware that hiding a resource on a desktop would suppress it from mobile? When did that change? Or am I just confused. Also, I tend to think the user us asking about deletion of locally downloaded resources and not licensing issues, but we'll know more when
Depending on your phone, I believe you can do this with its OS multitasking or split screen features outside of Logos watching the video in your web browser via biblia.com or faithlife.tv.
Now that's a thought. Might be a good work around. Still wish there was am option to view it only in the current resource panel
How do you delete unwanted books?
Delete? Or Remove from your library? You can delete it (from being a downloaded resource on your mobile device) by clicking on "i" with the circle (information button) that is found at the bottom of the iPhone reading view or to the right of the resource name while viewing the resource

  • Suggestion for handling Mobile Ed videos on iOS - non-full screen option

Is there anyway that Faithlife could adjust the playback settings for the Mobile Ed videos so that the videos can be played in a view other than full screen? When I'm in split screen mode (inside of the app, not the iOS split screen), it would be nice to have the Mobile Ed video play only in the panel it was originally displayed in, so that I can read
