hmm - I should've waited a few minutes to read your post I guess! I went ahead and bought the Leader's Edition - I couldn't justify the cost for anything higher than that, but was happy to see the incremental upgrade price was the cost differential ... so, perhaps I'll upgrade next year when I have more money in my account reimbursable. Thanks all for

Once something goes 'into development', how long does it usually take before it's available for shipping/download? I'm very interested in the Interpretation Commentary, but wondering if it's going to be there for a year or if it will be made available in the near future. I ordered the Talmud collection off pre-pub back in January and it said it would
My only point was there is a difference between the subjective and the factual accounting of the programs "capabilities". Ones preference for a Ford, does not mean a Chevy is not a capable car.
Agreed ... this would seem to support my point that the two are not truly comparable. I do agree that Logos has

I'm not sure if this is a bug or user-error, but it seems to be a bug. I'm using L4M and am trying to create some collections for faster searching. I was able to create a general collection (collection-1) with some selected resources and using the rule "series:opening up". I then added that collection to "My Passage Guide" and it seems to be working

Not sure if anyone else uses the Camino browser for Mac, but when I go to the forums site only the Suggestions forum shows up as a link. The table appears where all the forum links should be listed, just none of the links. Kind of annoying since Camino is my default browser. But, it works fine in Firefox and Safari. I'm using late 2009 13" MBP btw.

I sent this to the product suggestions email, but I thought I'd put it in here too. I'm a current user of the Leaders base package, so perhaps this request is included in Scholars packages, but I think it would be great if we could customize the home page layout content in such a way that it shows commentary from one of our "collections" for the lectionary

Mine does the same thing ... I assumed it was because the program is more powerful than my macbook. I have a late 2009 13" MBP model. I just ordered some more ram for it today, so we'll see whether that makes a difference. (I paid $63 for 8gb of ram, which I figured was a pretty cheap option if it works).

Sorry it's taken so long to respond, but I'm still having the issue. Here are some screen shots showing a search of Matthew 6:5-18. As an example, the Jewish New Testament Commentary shows up in the "scholarly study" collection where I've manually added resources, but does not show up in the "1990 and newer" collection. Here is the search results: Here

well, i tried deleting the camino app and reinstalling it - that didn't work. it also didn't reset my preferences though. I did a search for camino plist files and found some in the library folder somewhere. Tried deleting that, then deleting the app and reinstalling it. But, still couldn't tell what changed. Homepage was still saved somewhere that

well I did a search on Google for how to uninstall Camino, and it worked. Now I can see all the forum folders. Thanks!

I'm trying to install my copy of Logos 4 on my office computer, but when I double click the 'logos4setup.exe', I get the following error message: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application. The message actually occurs twice - I click the "ok" button and it brings up the same box again. My DEP

No luck. I tried the suggestions from the updatexp.com site, as well as the suggestion about disabling startup items using msconfig.exe. I tried disabling ALL startup items under this method, and also tried booting into safe mode. Still get the same error.

So, I tried to log on and post something to these forums when I woke up this morning, using my iPad. However, I found that while I could view all the postings, I couldn't respond to anyone's post. So, I pulled up the site on my Android phone (EVO), and found the same thing. Basically, it lets me see everything as I should, even when I hit "reply". It

Glad to know I'm not the only one ... I was afraid that it was a problem with my bank, so thanks for giving me hope that everything is still okay ;)
Ok, I get it. Foolish to try Logos 4 mac on late 2009 macbook alum. 4 gig of ram. Foolish to try Logos on current, stock, Macbook Pro 13". Sorry, I did not understand this.
I'm running a late 2009 MBP and Logos runs great. Yes, I spent $83 to upgrade my ram (actually, $63 with a $20 rebate from Newegg)

Mark, How do we sign up for beta testing of PBB once it is released? I haven't done beta testing for Logos before, but would be interested in doing so for PBB.

Well, I have a mac, so this may be different for you if you have Windows. But, for sermon tracking I simply store them in a folder and tag them in the "comments" section with the scripture and date reference on 'get info' for the file. This way I can easily search by scripture or date and find the sermons I've preached. For writing the sermons, I use

Thanks. So, I had newswire checked already, but I never got anything. Is there any other way to get the sale price?

I'm sure this is easy, but I haven't figured it out yet. Whenever I do a textual search using the Go bar, my panel with my translations shows a breakdown of each word in Greek and including the Lemma and some other information. (see screenshot below) While I find this information helpful and don't want to remove it completely, I would like to turn it
