  • Re: Uninstalling Proclaim on a Mac

Still the question remains: how to uninstall Proclaim on a Mac. I don't use it because the On Air version does not serve us well. I want to get rid of software that I do not use, but the "drop in the trashcan" method does not work, neither is there an unistall program to do the job. Please, help me out.

  • Re: Unable to Download Error

Same problem here, appr. half of my resources will download, half will refuse. What does not work one day, may download the next. No logic at all. Would be happy to hear what Logos wizards have been able to do on this very painful and expensive issue. After all, reading online costs a fortune on data transfer costs and is teasingly slow.

  • Re: BUG: Learn to Use Hebrew v2 zip files

Yes, I have the same problem. I used Winzip 15, StuffIt Expander and a load of other unzippers, but without success. I sent an SOS to Logos, but they just told me to keep on downloading and trying. They claimed to have updated the zip file, after which it stops downloading after appr. 150 MB. I am truly flabbergasted at the way Logos, which produces

  • Re: Greek/Hebrew DVD: Why an update?

I have the latest version of Winzip for Windows, which claims the Hebrew stuff is corrupted. With all respect, if the Logos guys use a non-compatible zipping method for a product, they are not on top of things... again! Downloaded StuffItExpander - - same problem, it does not work! Why on earth are those guys at Logos using different methods for Greek

  • Re: Logos 4 Packaging

Come on, Bob, why bother. I received the Logos 3 package and updated to Logos 4 over the internet. It just took 48 hours for the Logos 4 Gold using an 8 MB broadband connection Not a big deal when you have another computer to continue your daily work...

  • Re: Works of Dietrich Bonhoeffer

I think an English-German publication of DB's work would be highly appreciated. The majority of Lutheran scholars know German and will at some time while reading an English DB translation wonder, what was the expression DB used in his original text. It is not any more exotic than having the NT in Greek or the OT in Hebrew, when you come to think of

  • Re: Just bought Scholar's Library Gold 3 - now need to pay double for version 4???

Thank you, Dan, for taking care of the upgrade and for your long explanation. Let me correct a few things, though, for the record. Over the past three years (according to my records, which go back to 2006) I have not logged into any other account than the one I used for this purchase - I am not even aware that I have any other. Every time I checked

Paul was right, they do read the forum posts. In the end I got a phone call from a direct sales rep, who now works on this case. Obviously public pressure helps getting priority. Thanks to you all for responding

Did email them twice, Paul, but no response. About the NIV Bibles I have emailed them 5-6- times and tried to get them to act, but a deadly silence came upon all of them after a while. I even missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to boost sales of Logos Bible software through a weekend Bible software seminar. Had to cancel the whole event because

Good idea, Donovan, except that I lose the freight costs x 2 which amount almost to the price of a crossgrade

Crossgrade is not offered anywhere, unless you happen to know the pages where to look for it (which means you must have preknowledge that crossgrade exists). When going to the logos.com website only upgrades are offered, and at prices which under the circumstances infuriate me. Interesting, that in L4 the NIV, NIrV and TNIV seem(!) to be included in

Sure, but no other than automatic responses: "we are too busy, post your question on the forum." So that's what I did.

  • Just bought Scholar's Library Gold 3 - now need to pay double for version 4???

Just flabbergasting to find out that just two days after ordering Gold 3 Logos releases version 4 and charges the same price for the upgrade as they charge for the Gold 3 package. In other words I need to pay the double price for Gold 4, because I ordered two full days too early!? Not the first time Logos is being unfair, but certainly the worst so
