I just looked again at the product page ( https://www.logos.com/product/7565/evangelical-exegetical-commentary ) to see whether we can expect any new releases anytime soon. It doesn't look like it. And, unless I am mistaken, the large majority of volumes are not even in writing, many of which they still need to find an author for.... The many comments

EEC seems dead. No progress in 2021 (at least not that we can know), and no signs that 2022 will be any better. Frustrating as so many of us paid for the whole series upfront. That was a huge mistake.

An unexpected nice surprise. Thank you very much!
Every time I see a new posting to this page my heart sinks at the money I paid out with so little return all these years. And I am frustrated that FL is developing other exciting commentary series' (like Biblical Theology) with so little feedback on this one. I am running out of time to benefit from this purchase in

My main bugbear is that there is no consistency.
This bugbear should be quickly squashed ... unfortunately, I can't find the post from FL that gave the rules and Dave's minor correction to it. As I recall there was even a mention of SBL standards on series abbreviations.
Was it this
It appears that the passage guide displays the short title for books rather than the long title. Prior to Logos 9, the passage guide would display the long title. In my library, I have edited the long titles of my commentaries
I did the same and would love to have the guide use my own edited titles.
Description: Identify your commentaries at a glance with book covers, series abbreviations, and authors. Sort by default, series, or author; or group by Type of commentary, Era in which it was written, or Denomination of the author. Learn more about the Commentaries guide section .
will buy only if I need it and if its on sale
That's probably what many of us wished we would have done. I have already given up on this series (just look at the product page if you still keep your hopes up), and regard paying up-front for EEC the poorest prepaid investment I have ever done. I trusted Logos to
Checking back to see if you or Derek have any end of year updates
Interested to hear more as well. From the site , it looks like things have gone backwards. Only three volumes are with the editors; all the others are still miles away from publication.

Not happy at all with new mobile app!
What aspects of the L8 mobile app can we improve? How can we make it better for you? Same here. The first two months still offered something more academic, but since then nothing to even bother. Please bring back the list of twenty and include something more solid (even Lexham guides or volumes of Osborne's commentary series.
If you plan to buy a base package, please do NOT purchase this free update as you will lose your "first Logos 8 upgrade", which was for me over $400. I will have to spend now a long time trying to sort this out.
I am interested to hear an official answer to this question. I purchased the free L8 update through the link

I can confirm this bug. Same on my phone (Samsung Galaxy4 running on Android 6.0.1). Have sent in the logs.

I asked back in March:
Out of the 37 volumes that still need to be published, only 1 has a publication date, 3 are in review, and 4 are in writing. All the others, 29 commentaries in total, are not even in writing! (Faithlife, please tell me I misunderstood the labels and that a lot of researching and writing is happening

The cover of this title in my library has a little spelling mistake. Should be Harwood's instead of Hardwood's . On the websit e the cover is fine.
My guess is that the popcorn thing is a reference to a film - Fragments of Truth download release date announcement? Just a guess, though.
You might be right that Fragments of Truth will be available for purchase/download tomorrow. Something is in the works at least...
Faithlife just tweeted that an announcement is coming tomorrow... possibly Logos 8
Well, here it is! Thank you!
On the bright side, the Amos Micah Jonah volume downloaded last night for me
Yes. I have looked through the commentary today, and again I am very pleased with what I'm seeing so far. This IS a great series. I guess that's why I feel so disappointed about the major delays and frustrated by the poor/inaccurate info being
This does not mean that they are not currently being worked on. I can assure you that there are more than just four volumes currently in the writing stage.
Glad to hear this, Jake. Looking forward to a more comprehensive update. I recall you said in march:
As for a comprehensive update, I
