i am confused by the terminology. i think panels are the basic elements in the layout and tabs are inside the panels correct? why is it that when i choose "float this panel" only the active tab got floated? also, when there are multiple panels open in logos4, is there a way to minimize/maximize panels and restore them later? thx dean

Do you think Logos has the wisdom to start a new classified forum for users to buy/sell resources and/or other stuff for that matter? the way I see it. This would be a great use of the forum. I dont' think it will hurt their sales. it will help it actually now that users have a convenient way to buy/sell their resources. it encourages new customers

I think that depends... My Hebrew professor, David Eckman, insists that we learn the traditional. But another OT professor, Brian Morgan, uses the modern, which is developed by German Jews. If I remember correctly, German doesn't have the w sound, and therefore you get the v. There are also differences in pronouncing ayin, heth, and some letters. man

Another point to advocate multiple window management (or workspace). I also have 2 monitor setup with the 2nd one vertical (rotated 90degrees). So dragging the window across is not as useful. I cannot take full advantage of the vertical orientation of the 2nd monitor. I wonder how hard it is for L to patch up their UI.... Where can we submit a formal

actually. u can already do this with the "update libronix" window and "my library" window. but not the windows resources one caveat with the "update libronix" window and "my library" window. L remembers the location of those windows. so if i put them on the 2nd display and forget to move them back after i'm done, when i switch back go single monitor
I've tried everything I can think of and I can't change the way Logos displays the interlinears. You could always open 2 interlinears in 2 windows and link them together and read them side by side, assuming you want to compare greek text with greek text and the english text with english text.
actually, my intention is to

Is there a reason why when u put a interlinear Bible in the "Compare Parallel Bible Versions" tool, it only shows the English but not the original language? I did this with the ESV+Greek and ESV+Hebrew. Both English and original language show fine in a window by itself but once they were placed in the parallel Bible versions window, all the original

do you have to pay anything in addition to shipping on the cds? I just got a reply from Dave. You CAN transfer downloadable resources. I asked him to update the faq page so no one else may be mislead
-
same thing here. I am following another thread that says you CAN transfer downloadable resources. So there are conflicting ideas here at logos. this page says you CANNOT transfer downloadable resources http://www.logos.com/support/lbs/faq#transferlicenses however on this forum Bob says you CAN transfer downloadable resources http://community.logos.com
-
Hi Bob, http://www.logos.com/support/lbs/faq#transferlicenses Logos FAQ page still says that downloadable resources are not good for transfer. is the page outdated? thx dean
-
thx jim... found the same q in logos faq as well. i can buy/sell cd-rom versions but not downloadable versions... God bless! dean
