Better yet, just click here:
I already tried that, but when I re-loaded the layout, it still started searching a passage. Unless I'm saving the layout wrong, it gets confusing sometimes. Sometimes I think I'm saving the layout, but then when I go back to it, it does a different layout. How do I confirm that the

  • Explorer - Layout

In setting up my Layout, I was wanting to have Explorer already opened in one of my panels, but what I don't want it to do is to "automatically start looking up a passage." I want it to open up and stay not in use, until I type in a reference. I even tried opening Explorer without any layouts open, no links, nothing else opened, and yet it still starts

  • Re: Layout Adjusting
What shows up after you type a reference on the home page is more than simply loading a layout, so it's not likely to be customizable any time in the near future (it's not customizable on Windows, either).
With that being the case, I would suggest also having the ability to drag a Layout to the Shortcut Bar. Thanks

In Explorer will we be able to rearrange the order of sections? Such as put Commentaries on top, instead of People, Places, & Things?
Entering a passage in the home page opens our default Bible study layout; if you'd like to use your own layout, I'd stay away from that field and navigate one of the panels in your layout instead
Is this always going to be the case? Or in future Alphas, Betas, or final product, will I be able to set my designed layout

  • Opens in Random Panels

Is there yet a way to make Commentaries ALWAYS open up in the same window panel when you click on them from the passage guide? Currently sometimes a commentary will open in the bottom panel (the one I want my commentaries to open in), and equally other times it opens up in my top (bible panel window).

  • Re: Layout Adjusting

Great! I was able to move them to the main side and then adjust. That brings up another question though, why even have a "fixed width" sidebar? Is there an extra benefit to keeping it in the sidebar? Another question, am I able to run the passage guide from the homepage, but it then open up my designed layout? I just tried it, and it changed the layout

  • Re: Typing in Scripture Text Bug?

After a passage guide is performed...I have the passage guide on the left, the bible panel on the top right of that, commentary below the bible. In the bible panel I try typing Matthew 10:5 or something else, and it does not take me to that text. I even tried pushing the enter button twice incase the first time just made me confirm the text. But to

  • Typing in Scripture Text Bug?

Is this a known bug? Sometimes when I type in a reference such as Matthew 10:5 in the Bible Text panel, it will NOT go to that scripture. However if I do James 3:4 it does go to it. It doesn't let me go to many other texts either, don't understand why.

I've tried little and large. It won't move at all. Between the passage guide and bible text does move, but not the side of bible text and information.

  • Layout Adjusting

I'm trying to adjust my layout, and it's not allowing me to. I'm trying to adjust the portion where I have a yellow arrow shown, and trying to adjust it to the left around a third of the way over the bible text panel, but it doesn't budge at all. I was wanting to open other panels next to the info box. Is this possible? Perhaps just not yet? Is it able

  • A20 Questions

I think I'm going to switch mostly to using Mac Alpha now. Though things of course will still be buggy, I figured I should start learning how to use the program step by step, than to have to learn everything after it is completed. I just have a few questions (some may simply be answered that the feature is not completed yet) I went through the menubar

  • Re: Another Anabaptist Suggestion

I'm assuming the new Pre-pub on The History of the English Baptists, by Thomas Crosby (4 vols.) probably deals with the Anabaptists in it, as Baptists generally trace their heritage through the Anabaptist line, and simply dropped the prefix "Ana" in America (and in some other countries early on as well, as they didn't see themselves as re-baptizers

Perhaps you should take a poll amongst all the people you know and others, who has switched from PC to Mac and loved it, and those that switched from PC to Mac and regretted it and went back to PC. Or one that was a Mac user and switched to a PC. My guess is that 12 years ago, perhaps some switched to PC's after using a Mac. But in the last 6 years

  • Re: Multiple Reading Plans Yet?

Figured it out! Before I kept trying to look for an "add plan" when I was "in" a reading plan (by clicking on the current one in the ribbon), and couldn't figure it out. All I had to do was go to the Mac Menu and go to Reading Plan and it allowed me to create a new one. I knew I had to just be missing something.

  • Multiple Reading Plans Yet?

Is there the ability to create multiple reading plans in the current Mac Alpha yet? Just checking if I'm missing something. As it appears to me, I am only able to create one reading plan, though I could change it. I want a Bible reading plan, plus other book reading plans.

I now do on the iPad! And it works great! Even though it's still a computer like "screen," there is something totally different in holding an iPad to read books, than to sit at a normal computer/laptop to read. iPad highly suggested if you want to read books cover to cover.

Just sunk into the temptation of buying an iPad for the use of the Logos App this last Monday. It was Irresistible Grace! (just of works, it costed money!) I was surprised at how efficient the Logos App was in it's early stages, can't imagine how it's going to be as development progresses! Having the Logos Library made it more than worth it to get the
