  • Re: How soon to final Mac Beta?

Besides optimization for speed, the main reason I have not started using Mac Alpha for every day use is because the commentaries always open up in random places when I click on them. When this is fixed, I imagine that I will then be using the new version every day.

  • Re: Release notes for A 19

Are developers going to work on making the program not randomly choose a new panel to open a commentary in every time I open a new commentary? I would prefer that the same *type* of resources open in the same panel section (though still new tab). Just asking to see if that is a feature that is not developed yet, but will be. Or if there is a setting

[quote user="Bob Pritchett"]The world is moving to cloud-based web services over installed desktop apps. (Don't freak out -- we'll continue to support offline use for as long as a significant percentage of our users want it.) Some of us wish this wasn't so, or aren't prepared for it mentally, but it's happening none-the-less. We're designing our application

With such a huge library and growing, are any of you actually benefiting from them by reading them or referencing them? Or just go to your favorite resources, making the rest practically useless?

Is there a general average length of time when a product is official released, since the time it received 100% needed commitments to go into production?

I recommend Logos partner with The Baptist Standard Bearer to put their books in Logos. It's a large collection of historical baptist writings, many which are not in print by others. http://www.standardbearer.org/

Wouldn't some Amish be opposed to their writings being in Logos format, since it's on a computer, which uses electricity? (as prohibited by Ordnung)

Any new or renewed interest in getting John Gill's commentaries in Logos format? JOHN GILL (1697–1771) English Baptist theologian Dr. John Gill stands as one of the most important and yet misunderstood of our Baptist forefathers. His spirituality and intellect were only matched by the intensity with which others loved him or reviled him. Tom Nettles

That would be awesome to be able to have this in Logos format!!! Partner up! Logos would probably need to enter the "subscription" world for Magazines, but that would be expected.

Is it expected that the Mac Alpha will be developed enough for it to be profitable to attend the National Camp Logos June 10th & 11th? My friend and I really want to go this year, but if it's not developed enough by that time, we don't want to learn a bunch of stuff that we can't put to use yet, and thereby end up forgetting what we learned by the time
