The iPad does seem pretty neat, but I too was thinking it'd be even more revolutionary. I was thinking also that it would be really neat to switch between a normal display, and to an E-ink display, but I don't know how that would be possible (plus multi-tasking, at least a little bit). Maybe I'll need to try reading a book for a long time on the Mac
Jason and Roger, if you post your logs after an instance of reindexing, it would probably help the developers track what is happening. Without the logs, it is much more difficult to solve a problem.
8765.Archive.zip

Since the update to Alpha 12, every time it finishes indexing, and then I reload the program or restart the computer, it'll index again. I let it "finish," and then when I reload, it indexes again. This has happened like six times already.

How do I find out what Resources our WHAT file name to manually download? I already got the Media Only Disk and installed the extra resources into the Logos Mac 1.2.2 about six weeks ago, but evidently there are some newly updated resources to work for Logos Mac 1.2.2 that did not come on the Media Only Disk, but they are available to download. I understand

I'm planning on coming once the Mac edition is finished.

I think buying the CD 3.0 version would transfer find to Logos 4 just like the other Libronix 3.0 books do.

Thru the Bible Commentary $174.99 http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/THRU_BIB McGee Lifeworks $69.99 http://www.logos.com/products/details/3843 I'm confused on whether the Thru the Bible Commentary is included in the McGee Lifeworks or not. At first I thought it was, and that Logos should quit selling the more expensive, since they are selling a better

I almost created a new thread until I tried a search to see if anyone else thought of the same thing. I was wondering if a new bundle would be cheaper, or if it'd be just as low getting the pre-pub price verses a later bundle.
-
It is sold by one of the above partners. But by the partner it is included as a special package library, whereas Logos looks like it is, but might be without a few of the resources. Yet the partner is significantly less expensive, which I don't understand the dramatic difference. It's not like it's a difference of $20, but $96!

I'm attempting to ask an honest question, while staying within the Forum Guidelines, therefore I won't say what resource I'm speaking of or link to where it's located at. With that said, I found a particular resource that I am interested in, it is NOT a PBB, but designed for Libronix specifically by a professional company. The price difference of the

What does the Logos staff mean when they say "one of the libraries" or "one of the key libraries?" Does that mean a certain book or book collection? If the libraries were to start supporting 64 bit, does Logos plan to do code to be a 64 bit app since they try to stay on the "cutting edge of technology?"
-
Does Logos have "Corpus Scriptorum Ecclesiasticorum Latinorum" translated into English?
-
Great! Will go quicker than normal then as long as bugs in the open source software they're using to help develop the program don't prevent them from moving forward.
-
Logos doesn't have to develop their program for the Mac at all if they didn't want to. It is a benefit to Mac users, it' s not like we could demand "how much effort" they should put into the Mac product. Obviously since they've allowed you to pay for it, they're working on making the product! But hey, anything could happen to prevent that from finalizing

I think it would be a good idea if Community Pricing was advertised on the Blog, Logos Newswire, and Facebook soon. I did a search in the blogs, and the last time I found Community Pricing advertised and explained was June 30, 2008. That is over a year and a half ago. I'm sure there are MANY new Logos users and many more that read blogs that didn't

I've been hoping for the same! If Apple does release a Tablet at the end of this month or soon thereafter, I was hoping it'd be easy for Logos to implement it to a Mac Tablet since they've already done it with the iPhone. It'll be interesting to see what Apple has up their sleeve. It would be really neat if there was the ability to use either the E

How does the graph work? I don't see how the dollar amounts on the bottom reconcile with the percentage required for production on the left of the graph. For Barnes it shows $30 at 40%, but it shows $65 at 20%. I don't understand the math. How do you tell if one is getting close to enough bids to go in production?
-
OK, that worked, and it did around 1.67GB of downloads and now indexing for a long time. Did I actually get current resources and/or new resources (that weren't yet compatible before), or am I redoing something my computer already did via the automatic updates when I launch Logos 4 Mac Alpha? (thereby wasting time of downloads/indexing).

Even if you ordered the DVD, you still have the OPTION to DOWNLOAD the program. Some people just like to "own the dvd," or they need it because they don't have a fast enough Internet connection. Both the DVD or DOWNLOAD contains the entire program.

I've been wondering the same! Got same results
