Is this resource really worth getting? Obviously it's a best buy before Jan 1, but content wise is it worth getting if you already have a ton of resources such as in the Platinum library? What is the main focus of these resources, besides being dictionaries? Is there a major emphasis of the collection? What are the works known for? Those that have it

Simply had to go to Tools, Account Management, then Resource Installer and sync licenses.

There are however some books in Logos 3 that are not in Logos 4, I'm not sure how many. I know that the Moody Handbook of Theology was in version 3, but not in version 4. But with version 3 installed first, Logos 4 brings over your Logos 3 books. I'm not sure if this is possible to keep your old books if you start with just Logos 4, perhaps someone

It must have been added resources, because it did say I had 1369 resources before, but now it shows 1371 resources. It would be nice if it told me WHAT were the new resources.

I just launched Logos 4 Mac Alpha 8, and it did a 44mb download and brief index, but it is still on Mac Alpha 8 instead of 9. What were the recent updates? A minor bug fix? Updated books?

I used to think Logos was too much money and wondered why some of the conservative commentaries were in the more expensive packages (such as the Pulpit commentary) and lacked others such as John Gill, Wesley, Clarke, etc (in the base packages) when they were in my $49 program. I was forced into looking into a new bible software program when I switched

I just received my copy of Noah Webster's 1828 dictionary from The Berean Call today. And it works great! Works for the Mac! I think the reason it was originally advertised as not being compatible for the Mac is because it was before Logos Mac 1 was even released. I'm even more happy with the Logos program now! And when the new version is completed

Logos Books on an E-Book reader would be great! I haven't purchased one yet, but whatever E-Book Reader comes out, whether it be Kindle, Nook, or something else, I'm planning on purchasing it!
-
I found Webster's 1828 Dictionary at http://www.wallbuilders.com/store/product219.html but it says it is not compatible for the Mac. I'm assuming that note was probably written before Logos Mac 1 was released, but wanted to get confirmation before I purchase it. Does anybody know? My thought was that books that are purchased for Libronix would work

Suggestions: With the Bible mobile page, allow it to select what book and chapter you want it to go to. On the Library list it would be good to have a more efficient way to find books in your library, so you're not having to click on "more" over and over to get to the book you want. Looking good though! Logos sure has been innovative. As I understand

I just found Webster's 1828 for $35, but it says that it doesn't work for the Mac. Is this old news? Now that there is Logos Mac, I'm thinking it would work, but I'm not sure. I'm assuming that disclaimer was put there before they had it for the Mac. http://www.thebereancall.org/node/6823

Making it Logos 4 Mac a 64 bit program would be great to take benefit of the potential of Snow Leopard.
-
Is Logos going to work on making a 64 bit edition of Logos 4 Mac to take advantage of the capabilities of Snow Leopard?

Will Logos be offering the same custom Library Upgrade Discounts to Mac users when the official Logos4Mac product is finished? Jason Saling

I may be switching to the iPhone in the near future, just will have to swallow leaving Verizon's network. My wife has an iPod touch, so I have since Logos on there. It would be nice to have it on a larger display e-book reader though.

I already gave up on hesitating around five months ago, and the program is excellent. It would be nice if there was an offer of Webster's 1828 as a lesser expensive individual item.
-
John Gills commentaries would be a great add-on purchase for Logos. Gill's commentary is very exhaustive!
-
I think Webster's 1828 Dictionary is a great dictionary used by many in preparation for their sermons as far as looking up definitions from dictionaries, since it is one of its kind, so full and complete and with scriptural principles used as examples at times. There were only a couple of things that made me hesitate on making a switch to Logos for

I think it would be greatly beneficial to many Logos users, also resulting in great sales for Logos, if they designed or outsourced the design of a special E-Book Reader that would sync over your entire Logos Library. That would enable people to read the normal books in the library in a more efficient book (e-book reader) format, as I think many people

Keeps getting better. One issue that's common, and it was on the previous releases as well...when I click on a commentary in the passage guide sometimes it opens a tab in the normal commentary panel (bottom one), but sometimes it also opens a tab in the Bible Versions panel (top one).
