I still don't 100% understand, though I do understand more! I must not need it or likely use it. So I should be safe going from L4 Platinum to L5 Silver and just miss out on that one feature. Or am I likely to regret not having that one feature?

I haven't purchased Logos 5 yet. Still comparing packages/features. How does Bible Sense Lexicon differentiate from Exegetical Guide and Bible Word Study? It appears I find the same type of language info from the latter two, so wondering what is so beneficial about Bible Sense Lexicon. Thanks

Seems like vanity to me, for those that don't want many new resources, but want the new features, but are almost crying over losing a "status" from Platinum, to Gold, or oh my, even lower, Silver. Do you really *feel* more superior or of a higher class just because your package has a specific name? Is it because it feels better to boast to others? Sounds

Do my customized guides, customized collections, notes, reading plans, etc, carry over from Logos 4 to then be in Logos 5?

It would be nice to be able to copy scripture references directly from the search results panel, instead of having to click on the verse and pulling it up on another panel. Or is this simply a Mac limitation in the meantime but will be implemented soon?

Logos 4 Mac has been such a blessing to me as I utilize it much. I extremely rarely get any spinning beach balls. Just about every time there is an update released, it just keeps on getting better! I'm glad I have Logos 4 Mac, rather than having to use Windows to get this great tool! Plus it has better suited and interested me more than any other Bible

Is there a collection of books, or even individual books that are focused on utilizing visual object lessons in a sermon message? Books that give you ideas on using objects in a sermon to help visualize truths.

It sure would be nice to use Logos on the Retina display Mac, as I like reading the books on the iPad's retina display. But I've updated my current Macbook Pro to be at its fullest potential in memory and a SSD. So I won't be buying a new one this time. The speed of Logos is awesome on the SSD. I'll have to wait a few years at least before I jump for

I have a customized guide that I've made a long time ago and I've tried updating the template several times but to no avail. I've forced sync after making the update, yet it still didn't help. I've tried adding sermons.logos, sermon audio, and sermon central, but after I close the program entirely, those parts of my customized guide vanish. Is this

Can I make the Bible Word Study stay static in my layout? I have it in a specific spot, but when I right click on a word in my Bible to do a word study, it opens up another Bible Word Study on the left of my layout. But I would rather it simply update in the location I have it planted at.

Also, what about the Bishop's Bible? I've been waiting for these to become available.

Or is it doing multiple supplemental reindexes, therefore making it better for me to start over and rebuild the indexing anyways and leave it on without turning computer off or restarting?
-
I just did a fresh install of my Mac OSX, and Logos is doing the norm, indexing. In the meantime, I've rebooted the computer since it's been indexing. My question is, does that mean my indexing starts from the beginning again and starts all over? Or is it simply picking up from where it left off?
-
Same problem with me! I was wondering if Logos wasn't liking my new SSD! But must simply have something to do with their servers tonight!

I recall an advertisement saying Logos users get 10 free downloads from Graceway Media. I've never done such yet, is that still possible? How would I do it? I don't see any link that verifies that I am a Logos user to Graceway Media. Jason

Have very minimal problems, but since upgrading to Lion, videos on the web are choppy. It appears there are some other Lion users have had this issue, but it doesn't look like the multitudes have. So just was wondering if doing a fresh install would get rid of any potential bugs and corrupt files that are slowing the video playback. But I would rather

If I do a Fresh Install of my Mac OSX, and copy and paste all my Logos folders/files to the new install, would that avoid having to index the entire library again?

Thanks. Though I am seeing it in several locations online that the quote is attributed to Origen, none of them say WHICH works of Origen it is in. I doubt that he said it orally to someone, and that continued to get passed on (without it being written out.) I guess thats possible though. I also am thinking MAYBE one of the other church fathers might

Another thing I've been trying to search for is supposedly in the Talmud. Rules that the masorites/talmudists went by while they copied scripture. These are the rules I've found in several other places online, but not in the Talmud in Logos. A synagogue roll must be written on the skins of clean animals prepared for the particular use of the synagogue

For example, I just read a quote attributed to Origen, and it says "The scriptures are of little use to those who understand them as they are written" So what would be the best way to search for that? I've tried things such as "scriptures WITHIN4 words of little." So far I haven't found it. Maybe he never said it. Or I'm just not searching the best
