  • Re: Getting New iPad

Ordered mine this morning. Been a proud owner of the first, second and now the third. I always get the highest capacity because the more you get used to it, the more you will fill it up. I also always get the version that allows connection to a carrier. Although I try to use it where free wifi is available, there are times when it isn't available and

  • Re: BUG: Rename Favorites Broken

FYI: The favorites renaming was broken for me as well and enabling and disabling the logging fixed it for me also.

  • Re: Editing Favorites on iPad2

Unfortunately, I rebooted and that didn't help. When I right click on a favorite or favorite folder and choose rename, it flickers, the name disappears and if I try to type, it just makes beep sounds and no text appears. Same thing happens if I click once on the name, pause, and click again to try to rename. Thanks for the help!

With notes and highlighting, I am happy with the app. It will make waiting for new features easier and the price of the app now is perfect (free)!

Thanks for the info Alabama24! I am just thankful I am not alone and not crazy (well at least not alone anyway!) Even though I have to force the sync with an app restart, the highlighting capabilities are awesome!

It would be nice to rename the favorites as well. For example, the default "PG: 28" is not very descriptive when I save a book mark on page 28 from the book Practice of Godliness. I tried to rename the favorite in the desktop (Mac) program but it won't let me. It appears that there is a bug there.

I spoke a little to soon...although I can get all my iPad2 notes to sync to the desktop, it seems to take me exiting the app on my iPad2 and then clicking the sync button on my toolbar in the desktop program. Not a show stopper but it definitely is not after 10 minutes on its own as indicated in Kevin's post. I have waited double that at least. I still

Thanks for the description Kevin! That helps me understand what to expect. The notes and highlighting are working great for me. Loving the power here and now with the latest update the highlighting and notes with custom design capabilities have propelled logos into a whole different awesome level! Nice!

Ok, I just glanced at my iPhone screen again and the double highlight disappeared and it is correct now! So how often do the mobile apps sync with the server? After ever so many seconds? After every highlight? Maybe at certain times? After exiting the app and restarting? I see no pattern. Some seem instant or at least within 5 minutes and others, like

  • Potential Bug: Highlighting on top of highlighting

While using my iPad2 and the new 2.0.2 app, I came across some text that was highlighted from my desktop program. I wanted it to be a different color so I removed the old highlight and immediately changed it to another color. The next day, I checked the same text but this time via my iPhone 4. The problem is that both highlights were still applied to

Are you talking about the mobile app? I don't think that is the problem - I think if you are connected to the internet, the highlight info should be sent out... it just

Finally got the app update to download to my iPhone. What is everybody seeing as far as sync time between? It is not happening automatically for me when I click the sync button. It seems that I have to restart the app and/or desktop program before it will EVENTUALLY sync. Is there a way to force a sync on the app without closing the app down and restarting

Download finally worked on my iPad but can't get it on my iPhone. Although it took a minute or so, I was able to add a highlight to my iPad and then have it sync to the desktop. Maybe progress...

When I try to update the app, it acts as if it starts but then just quits with no error. I will keep trying... Another strange thing is that there is no description or release notes or anything in the app store for the app. All that is listed is the icon the company name and the release number/date.

[quote user="Philana Crouch"] I think they are fixing this. I called Logos this morning and asked about some parts of my custom highlights not syncing. Mainly adding some images I had added for inductive Bible study. Customer Support said this was a sync issue that was being fixed. I am very appreciative of the new notes and highlighting features. I

I bet they are still testing some stuff. Some of the highlights I have made on my iPad appear to have synced but when I just tried highlighting on my iPad just now, nothing synced. Not all of the highlighting synced up either. It appears it was having trouble with markup in the margin...not sure though. I don't think it is there yet. I am sure they

I kind of figured that but it appeared that Fred, Andy, and Kenneth were having some luck syncing so I thought I would give an update too. Perhaps Logos is working on the issue
