the font in the passion translation appears to be bold. Can this be changed?
EDIT: Actually some text is bold (e.g. John 17), some text isn't (e.g. John 18). It looks like TPT uses bold for Jesus' words (?). (I thought it was all bold, but that's because I've been preaching on John 17 and didn't look beyond the prayer

Actually it's just as easy now, and it gives you more information. Open your Library (CTRL/CMD-L). On the left is a number of filters you can use to view your library or portions thereof in various ways. Under "Last Updated" choose the range of days you'd like to view (Today, Last 7 Days, Last 14 Days, Last 30 Days). There you go. Now you can see all

  • What are your thoughts on the new Pentecostal/Charismatic base packages for Logos 8?

I'm curious what other charismatics & Pentecostals think of the new base packages in Logos 8. I wasn't very excited about previous packages, but these look like a huge improvement. What are your thoughts? (BTW, I went with the Platinum package.)

  • Re: Resources about the recommended Name to use in prayer.

Have you considered looking at the prayers in the New Testament? How do the inspired writers refer to the One to Whom they are praying? I think that would be a better place to start. In Jesus' model prayer (the Lord's Prayer), He teaches us to pray to "Our Father in heaven" ("Padre nuestro que estas en los cielos"). I think that's a good place to start
PS I use Word Perfect X6, NOT Microsoft Word.
Logos copy/paste feature doesn't play well with WP.
In very general terms, as a pastor, how many books do you consult for each sermon?
I’m studying the Hebrew word “ לַֽאדֹנִ֗י ” (adoni) found in Psalm 110:1 . I want to (1) determine how many times this word is found in the Old Testament, and (2) the range of meaning for this word. A search of the manuscript form of this word (“לַֽאדֹנִ֗י”) using the Lexham Hebrew Bible yields 36 hits. But a few sources indicate
A report came out today that Apple plans to make their own chips for the Mac by 2020 instead of relying on Intel chips. I'm guessing this means that FaithLife would have to rewrite their software to support the new chips. My question is, does FaithLife always plan to support Mac and PC? Is that stated anywhere? Any commentary set will be uneven: some volumes will be very good, others not so much. If I were you, I'd create a long-term plan for myself to get NICOT/NT and WBC. To those I'd add the Pillar Commentary series. (I'm preaching through John right now and Carson on John is excellent!) I've found WBC to sometimes wander too far into some of the less
