Thanks for the great deal!
I'm mostly voting for Wright because I really want to see his Paul and the Faithfulness of God at 75% off. I own lots of his other stuff already.
Same here. Even if Packer doesn't advance, discounts on his works should still be decent because his aren't nearly as expensive as Wright's.

Never mind, just compared the table of contents from logos.com and amazon. They're the same!

Is Paul: Fresh Perspectives the same book as Paul: In Fresh Perspective ? Thanks! Jason

You may want to download them specifically for your Mac and install them into the Fonts folder. Gentium: http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&id=Gentium_basic SBL Hebrew: http://www.sbl-site.org/educational/BiblicalFonts_FAQ.aspx Hope that helps! Jason
I would limit my time with Logos during the early learning phase. Nothing and I mean nothing will help your Greek like (1) Learning the vocabulary and (2) reading the NT in Greek - even the parts you don't understand - understanding comes through learning the vocab and the accompanying morphology rules and reading, reading

Working relatively well over here. Some occasional hangs and weird bugs (wouldn't accept input from they keyboard earlier today), but on the whole, it's very stable. A long, long cry from the Alpha. Great job Logos Mac team!
Would you recommend this for someone that already owns the NICNT and NAC, as well as the (forthcoming) EEC? I've read the reviews of this series and they all seem unanimous in their praise, but I'm trying to figure out what Pillar brings to the table that wouldn't be included in the series I just mentioned. The price seems

All the apps are going to be moderated by Amazon in terms of delivery. Right now, for example, I see the Kobo App available on the Amazon Android Apps marketplace, but I wonder if they would actually allow Barnes & Noble, Logos, or other eReader apps onto the Kindle Fire. Part of me is more interested in an actual Android tablet like the 7" IdeaPad

I'm wondering the same thing. If it will be available, that would make the Kindle Fire a very, very compelling device for me.

LOVE the copy and paste feature. Smooth implementation indeed. Thanks guys!

You have to hover your mouse toward the right hand side (near the top of the preview) and you'll see quite a few pages of preview. The formatting reminds me of WBC a bit, and at a glance looks certainly well researched.

We'll find out tonight! From www.logosmarchmadness.com :

1) You can download the Logos 4 Mac core engine here: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LBS4MacInstaller/Logos4Mac.dmg 2) I think if you want to use ACCS on the iPhone, you'd have to buy a version of Logos 4 Mac, the least expensive of which is the Minimal Crossgrade: http://www.logos.com/minimalcrossgrade More answers here: http://www.logos.com/4/faq

I've heard good things about Sidney Greidanus' "Preaching Christ from the Old Testament," but that's not yet available in Logos.

If financially feasible, I'd vote for Platinum. I took a more circuitous upgrade route (silver-->gold-->platinum), but I'm happy with what I have now. You should definitely look into the academic discounts as well. Peace, Jason

For an exegetical study of Ephesians, here's what I'd use: Peter O'Brien, Ephesians , Pillar New Testament Commentary Clinton Arnold, Ephesians , Zondervan Exegetical Commentary on the NT Frank Thielman, Ephesians , Baker Exegetical Commentary on the NT Andrew Lincoln, Ephesians , Word Biblical Commentary There are a bunch of others out there too, but

Found this page which might be of help: http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/international/keyboards/macrtl.html I'm using Word 2011 and still have some vowel point problems in Hebrew using the default SBL Hebrew font.
