  • Re: Custom Reading Plans - The Bible Recap

Fantastic! My wife is about done with this plan for 2021, but we are going to be doing it together in 2022 and I was just going to sit down and start working on it today when I found this! Bless you sir, this was a great Christmas gift!

  • Tip: Insert non-printing characters with parens to prevent emojis...

Ok, this may be an odd tip, but I copy and paste from Logos to Facebook quite frequently, and Facebook lamely converts ASCII to emojis when it can. When I copy verses from Logos, I have a custom copy/paste format where verses are set off by parens like this: (7). But, of course, verse 8 causes a sunglasses smiley emoji to be pasted in. I like parens

  • Re: "Copy Bible Verses" in Web App

I use this feature all the time, but I would REALLY like to be able to format the copied text somewhat like the app can do. For example, it would be super helpful to be able to set the verse numbers in parens. Currently, there are no options (that I can see) to apply any alternate format to the text. (Love the Web app, BTW) Jeff.

  • Re: Custom copy/paste options?

Thanks for the quick response! Hopefully it will bubble up on the priority, but I get that it's likely low on that list. :)

  • Custom copy/paste options?

Firstly, I'm really loving the Logos 8 Web App! It is an awesome way for me to do some study prep when I'm away from my home PC. One thing that would be nice though is to carry over the custom copy/paste formatting I have come to use in all of my study prep. For example, I have been using this format (from desktop Logos): 1 Samuel 1:5–8: (5) But to

Excellent! In the meantime, if I use a "Basic" search as follows: "Search 'All Text' in 'ESV'" ... it's a temporary workaround.

  • Logos 7.9 Beta 3, Windows 10, "Bible" Search crashes

Not sure which update caused this, but Logos has been crashing on me every time I do a "Bible" search. It usually returns a few results and then Logos crashes. It happens online or offline, CTRL-Click or not. It happens in a custom layout I have been using for literally years. But it also happens in the default layouts as well. I'm stumped, and I can

  • Logos 7 crash while performing a Bible search...(moved to Beta Forum)

For a few weeks now, Logos has been crashing on me every time I do a "Bible" search. It usually returns a few results and then crashes. It happens online or offline, CTRL-Click or not. It happens in a custom layout I have been using for literally years. But it also happens in the default layouts as well. I'm stumped, and I can't decipher the log...

  • Re: Web App not working...

I would absolutely love a web app that copied and pasted bible text with formatting options. I honestly wonder why virtually no "web app" bibles do this well - the ESV Online is the best by far - it actually works pretty well. But it is ESV, if I want to copy and paste alternate translations, I need to copy everything selected as plain text and then

  • Re: Web App not working...

So, apparently, to get the experimental display working in Chrome, you must enable the "hardware acceleration" option. But copy still is pretty useless to me. Any chance that a proper copy (like teh desktop app) will be implemented?

  • Re: Web App not working...

I just subscribed to the free month of Logos Cloud just to try the web app. I have the same problem that Robert had - must disable experimental resource display or all I ever see is the spinner. I was able to get it working in Edge with experimental display enabled. But the whole reason I wanted to try it was to copy and paste things when I am at work

  • Re: Logos Now and Logos 7 Crossgrade

I saw that Logos Now includes some capabilities of "Logos Cloud". Does that include "anywhere access" to my library? I do not have Logos installed on my work PC for obvious reasons, and I like to study over lunch sometimes. I currently use Biblia, but I can't copy verses from it without including all ofthe footnote markers, etc, so I need to jump over

  • Re: Server Down? Or...

Looks good from my end, and I echo Stephanie's comment - this kind of interruption is a first for me too. Thanks for getting this nipped in the bud quickly! (But my comment on an "offline" mode still applies - especially for us small churches who can't afford internet!) :)

  • Re: Server Down? Or...

Still down for me. I can't upload content, sync, or access my library. This is exactly why there needs to be an "offline" capability where I can create the presentation on my desktop and move it to my laptop for running at church. We have service tonight at 6:00, I hope it's fixed by then!

  • Re: offline option? Totally local operation?

We do not have internet at our facility either, but all we do is make sure that the laptop we use in the service has "synced" in the morning before the worship leader leaves home. Any "last minute" changes are made on his laptop at the church and everything works fine. I do agree that storing the presentation offline on a USB drive or something would

  • How do I: undo, copy slides between presentations, default style for "add item"

OK, a few quesitions... 1. I can't for the life of me find an "undo" button - is there a capability to undo changes? I see one if I right click a slide, but that doesn't really work like I'd expect. 2. Is there a way to copy a slide set from one presentation to another? I have some neatly formatted slides that I'd like to re-use between presentations

That clears it up. I was a little worried. But, now that I've seen the potential of Family Friendly Churches Trust, I have hope in the Proclaim store! :)

  • Proclaim template / graphics...

I'm getting my feet wet with Proclaim, and I like it so far. However, I can see a time when we will want to mix it up with the backgrounds/graphics, etc. I see there is a "store" option for templates, but even simple ones seem to be $400. That's crazy! :) So, do any of you know of a way to get decent backgrounds/templates (or how to create my own)?
