• Re: bug: notes not displaying

Well, I called tech support and then figured it out myself while I was on the line. Expanding the size of my window allowed me to see that "quotes" was selected instead of "full," "compact," or "split." That was an easy fix! I guess the problem was due to a long note document title covering up that menu (on Mac anyway). My suggestion would be to put

After a long time of sync arrows spinning, I got an error message saying "An error occurred during synchronization, click to try again." I clicked and within seconds, it stopped spinning and the same error message came up. I restarted the app. Notes still aren't showing up. I'm now trying the sync repair once again FWIW.

All the note documents I've opened are blank. I haven't opened every single last one, but just sampled a few recent ones and a few older ones, and I get nothing in the app. On documents.logos.com, it's all there, but in the app nothing at all shows up. I'm including two screenshots – one from documents.logos.com and the other from the app on my Mac

  • [resolved] bug: notes not displaying

This morning I was going to insert a note to a note file I often use, but when I opened the note file it was blank (and it turns out that all my note files are blank). When I tried to add the note from the Scripture reference, it did nothing. When I tried to add it with the "Add note" button, that didn't do anything either. The notes are intact at documents

  • Re: Merging notes and clippings

Of course, Logos can be used in so many ways by so many users... wouldn't want to take that away from you, MJ. I'd still like to see the current ability to have separate notes, clippings, etc, but then add the ability to put different things together in one document. I know some people will use favourites to put things together, and I experimented with
Well what about a pre-Memorial Day wish?
Actually I'm quite a bit further south than that, but still in the Commonwealth (Papua New Guinea). I must admit, though, I didn't even think of Victoria Day until I saw your post – and the day is almost done here already.

  • Merging notes and clippings

I make a lot of use of notes in Logos. I generally tie them to a reference (Scripture or heading), and when I'm working on a sermon or lesson, I'd like to have everything for that body of work in one note file. When I come across great quotations, I don't want those in a separate clippings file; I'd rather have them with the rest of my work in a single

  • Automating Bible PBB from XML

Some time ago I made a PBB Bible in Tok Pisin (a.k.a. "Pidgin," the creole of Papua New Guinea). It works quite nicely. However, it turns out that my source files had mistakes, and also, there were some other features that were missing (e.g. paragraphing, headings, cross-references). I have recently found an updated text with all of those features

  • Re: Bug: reversed English text when comparing with BHS

Stephen, here's the requested screenshot. I have Palatino Linotype as my default Greek font. As for printing, I'm going to assume that my Mac is acting the same as Windows (a dangerous assumption maybe?). What bothers me even more than font is font size. Although I normally have my notes at about size 10, they print at about 14 or more. I end up printing

  • Re: Bug: reversed English text when comparing with BHS

I get a somewhat different font in Greek, but it's only slightly different, not Arial. How would you go about changing those fonts anyway? I don't see that anywhere in Program Settings. And, getting a bit off topic, but maybe you would know the answer as well - is there a way to change the fonts for printing? It seems that whenever I print notes in

  • Re: How to best format a custom Bible in Personal Books.

Does anyone have a quick way to add milestones to a Bible in Word? Obviously not going to add 30,000+ milestones individually! I made a PB Bible a year or two ago, and through a long process of find-and-replace (with and without wildcards), copy-and-pasting into Excel for further manipulation, concatenating, putting it back into Word, and more find

  • Syncing from MBP to Android not working

For the past few months, any notes I add to Logos 5 on my Macbook Pro are not syncing to my Nexus 7 (just updated to 4.0.12, Build 187, running Android 4.4.2). The notes are present at documents.logos.com, so it seems the issue is not with the MBP. Any ideas?

  • Re: Bug: reversed English text when comparing with BHS

Buk Baibel is a PBB Bible (Tok Pisin). Removing it does not help. I believe there are two resources called BHS SESB 2.0. I don't remember what the difference is, although I think it has been discussed somewhere on this forum. I have hidden one of them – but maybe I hid the wrong one? I'll see what happens if I un-hide the other one.

  • Bug: reversed English text when comparing with BHS

When I have BHS (SESB 2.0) open and do a text comparison with F7, the English texts I am comparing with show up written right-to-left. Not that I would ever see the use of doing such a Hebrew-English comparison, but it looks buggy none the less. When comparing with BHW 4.18 or BHS/WIVU as the base text, I don't have this issue. I vaguely recall having
