Can we get Christian's Reasonable Service on the list for incorporation into the Systematic Theologies tool. à Brakel, Wilhelmus. The Christian’s Reasonable Service and 2 . Vol. 1. Morgan, PA: Soli Deo Gloria Publications, 1993. abr.lbxlls

  • Theology Guide (Passage)

I picked up Vos Biblical Theology, since it was on sale, but I am confused about how references are showing in the TGP (or any Biblical Theologies section), above. Why does the TGP (left side of picture) only show two entries in Vos BT for Gen 32, but if you click "Search Biblical Theology: Old and New Testaments" link, then 5 results in 4 articles

  • Re: Theology Guide

Thanks for the reply. Are the n.n.n (e.g. 4.2.1 or IV.ii.1) the Milestones for the Institutes? Yes, it has those. Is "Milestones" a Logos resource nomenclature or is that a "Calvin Institutes" specific nomenclature? If it is Logos, is there a specific place to look to see what Milestones are used in which resources within Logos? Thank you!

Follow up question. For something like Calvin's Institutes, there are a plethora of versions (different translators, dates, etc.). Would we have to own the "right" one to get it to work in the Systematic Theologies section or the Theology Guide? I currently have been using (with lots of my notes): LLS:42.110.15 2013-07-22T16:45:43Z CICR.logos4 If I

Jai, Hi. Unrelated question: how do you like running Logos 7 on your Surfacebook (I assume is not Surfacebook 2)? I'm considering getting one but how Logos runs on it is a key factor. Ross Durham durhamrh@gmail.com

  • Re: Finding Print/Export in L7 to be Frustrating Compared to L6

7.7 for Mac is out. When using Text Compare, why can't Print/Export use the font size slider settings? Font size slider settings are reflected in single resources when selecting Print/Export. Or why can't you bring back the text size options on Print/Export that existed in L6? Why?

Is there a time frame to expect a fix for this? I'm missing the great functionality in the way it used to work. Not fixed with 7.6.0.0027 Ross

  • Suggested feature: Root word in Lexicons

When right clicking a word in NA27, and selecting the Lemma in the Right hand side of the dialog box, there are five options for opening lexicons (or resources that can be treated as lexicons) at the bottom of the Left hand of the dialogue box. Could we have the same for when selecting the Root in the Right hand side of the dialog box?

This makes no difference in the Print/Export result for me in L7 on OS X. It seems like it Should help, but the reality is that the output is identical.

Here are some pictures demonstrating the changes: I have L6 6.14 SR-4 on a different partition but I checked and it has the same issue as L7 has. But here is a picture of a physical print out that I did sometime earlier in February from L6 (I don't know which version exactly): But now in L7, here is the same Text Compare: and close up 1. • Finding Print/Export in L7 to be Frustrating Compared to L6

I searched about this but didn't find what I was looking for. Sorry if this has been dealt with before. In L6 I could do a TextCompare then Print/Export and get a nice tightly formatted sheet to print (directly in the print/export screen) that I would use for sermon prep. This was so helpful! In L7 the formatting options are gone and the result is double

  • Program Bug?: two finger click on word sometimes closes context menu and switches focus to Reading List instead of allowing secondary context menu action

Using Logos 6.14.0.0079 on OSX 10.11.6 (but it has been happening for a while). When I use a Reading Plan to open Swete Lxx, often when I do a two-finger click on a word, the click on the right hand side of context menu (say the Lemma or Root) Closes the context menu and Switches the focus to the Reading Plan. Usually my intention in this situation

  • Re: Error: Morphology Charts: παρατίθημι

Thank you. "Morphology Charts" is a tool, under the "Interactive Media" section that shows all the grammatical forms that occur for a word in NT.

  • Re: Error: Morphology Charts: παρατίθημι

Thanks. Yes, I did miss the dual parsing options. So, "error" is the wrong word; how about "unhelpful." If Morph Chart is only going to show one option and not indicate the possibility of others, it is at least a little unhelpful when it picks the parsing of the 2 options that no major English translation uses. (The Indicative parsing is possible but

  • Error: Morphology Charts: παρατίθημι

In the Morphology Charts for παρατίθημι, παράθου from 2 Tim 2.2 is listed as an indicative rather than as an imperative (as NA27 parses it: V2SAMM). I'm running: 6.14.0.0079 Am I missing something? Why this error? Are there other errors? Ross

Finally fixed. Restarted in offline mode (no internet at all), letting Logos sort itself out, then restarting with Internet and log in, and it completed its index. During the "Preparing Library ... " bug, no new books were downloaded. After this they came in. Not fun.
