• Re: Would it be ethical to loan you iPad with Logos on it

Michael, I would look at it this way: If you loan a set of paper commentaries to someone then you can not use them while they have them. So I would not use the commentaries while they are on loan. Loaning your iPad deprives you of one of your normal ways of using Logos. So this is different than giving them your password. I would view it as advertising

  • Re: How long have you been a Logos user?

Just since 2010. I truly love it for study for sermons and personal enrichment. I have used and programmed computers since the early 1970's. I used other Bible software since the late 1980's. The first computer I owned was a TRS 80 built from parts in about 1981. PCs after that. Now PC Laptop, iMac and ipad. So I guess I am a true geek.

You might try pausing for four hours using the computer. And then starting the indexing process when you're done
Logos 5 recently crashed and I had to reindex my entire library which took 9+ hours on a new, relatively upscale machine. Can we get indexing to happen only when the computer is not being used? There are numerous programs
We can't just index each book separately, because if we did A) ranked results across your library would be impossible to compute with any accuracy, and B) we'd have to search each book, dramatically increasing the number of seeks on your hard drive.
Bob, I am confused. I used to program computers years ago. If each

That is an option but it still involves an indexing process. I have SSD so it is not that much of a problem for me. But there are many that can not afford to upgrade their computers.

Or allow us to down load once a week as an option or when we purchase new books or when there are considerable changes in the books we own.

  • Reading Plans?

I am using Logos 5 reading plans for reading through the NRSV Bible. On the iPad Retina Display I can't find the reading plans. One post talked about a "+" button on the home page. I find none. There used to be links embedded in the Bible text like in Logos 5. They are not there either. Is there away to use Reading Plans on the iPad currently?

I am doing this Morph search and getting no results. There is an occurrence of this form in Rom. 3:22. Am I doing something wrong?
