Logos 9 on my MacBook Pro daily just quits. I can not see any cause for the quits. Anyone else have that issue?

OS: 10.15.6 (19G2021) MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012) Logos Bible Software 8.16 8.16.0.0002 Tried to get the Logs, but now it opens big. I do not know how to hold my mouth to make it open small.

A good share of the time Logos starts very small on my MacBook Pro. It is at the very bottom of the screen, a quarter inch tall and 3 inches long. The Mac and Logos have all the updates. It is no problem to get it to a better size, but it would be helpful for it to start up larger. Any suggestions?

How does one now highlight or select only particular verses? Logos 6 tries to be too helpful and selects all the verses for the passage. This could be helpful, but I would rather control the verses selected.

That is it should have been removed before the Logos update was released.

Yes, the MacBook Pro has OS 10.9. Son Daniel says it is something for troubleshooting that should have been removed before the update was released.

Here is something new when I simply had Logos quit: "The "lldb" command requires the command line developer tools. Would you like to install the tools now?" No idea what "lldb" is. Is this new with the new OS? How much training would it take to know what to do with the developer tools?

With the spinning wheel, looks like I will need for force quit Logos. Here is a sample from the Logos Logging Utility. 3568.LogosLogs.davidbergquist.20131001-153129.zip

Minor problem perhaps, but Logos on my MacBook Pro quit unexp. when I simply opened the computer. At the time had these open: Page, Wallet, Safari and Evernote. I have 16 gigs of RAM. Attached is the log. 6036.LogosLogs.davidbergquist.20130930-084313.zip

I still do not understand why Logos is the only program with this issue. The brakes on a Honda are not the same as those on a Ford, but they are much more alike than they are different. Do any of you have the freeze problem with programs other than Logos ? Do any of you have a quit problem with programs other than Logos ?

Now Logos as cleanly quit for a couple weeks on my MacBook Pro. I have no idea what has changed, but I am very pleased. Is the problem now fixed for good ? Keep up the clean quits Logos.

I wish my son had the time and Logos would let him work on this problem. He is an excellent experienced Mac programer. He has explained to me what a program has to do to shut down. Kindle somehow shuts down cleanly and allows one to look at the books where one left off on other devices. Kindle though, really deals with one book at a time. I wish the

WHY is Logos the only program with this problem? I can not remember the last time another program had trouble with a simple quit. Is Logos that much more complicated than the other programs ??? Is this also an issue for the Windows Logos program ?

Dear Jack, Here are a couple of the existing threads that give context. Home > Logos 5 > Hang when Quitting Home ]] > Logos 5 ]] > Sync-Hang issues on Mac You were helpful in these in the past. Thanks again! Text Comparison was not open. I am in a motel that has good wiFi, but sometimes the computer is not really connected. This is a cause of the hang

It seemed to be better for a while, but once again Logos 5 on my MacBook Pro is very often requiring a force quit. The situation and issues seem to be the same as before, so I will not restate them. Again, I do not think I will be able to reproduce the need for a force quite, it just happens. Most often it is when I have opened and closed the MacBook

Twice when I quit Logos 5 on my MacBook Pro, the quit unexpectedly box comes up. From my perspective it is not really a quit unexpectedly when I quit Logos. Is this case a quit unexpectedly from a programer's point of view ? Is this really an issue or a non-issue ?

Michael, Since you consistently have this problem, you seem to be in a better position to help Logos fix the problem. It only happens some of the time on my MacBook, but it is often enough to be annoying. I have no idea how to consistently make the problem happen or not make the problem happen when using Logos online, though it seems that using Logos
