... to follow up I can confirm that the crash happens even when the program is sitting idle. I notice that the 'automatic report to apple' has in the last lines before the system details a mention of Growl. Tootle pip Mike

  • A18 Crash after a while

Hi Developers, There I was all smug - never had to watch that Joe Miller video. But today while examining Revelation 7 : 9-17 I was ejected. (so close but still so far) Actually Logos 4 crashed a few times even while it was just in the background. So for the first time.... here are my logs.... 4338.Archive.zip tootle pip Mike

  • Re: Hopefully just a silly question

More seriously, if the Portfolio is the only resource that you have purchased recently you may be able to ascertain the expected size of your library file.

  • Re: Hopefully just a silly question

You could of course print out the whole library on 80gsm paper (double sided in order to protect the environment). Once you have it all printed out; weight it, and then ring customer services and ask them wether you collection weighs the same as theirs. Tootle pip Mike (ps Do not try this at home!)

  • Re: running Logos 4 Mac

Hi Don If you check your library you should be able to match it up with book list that you purchased. Is there anything in particular that you think might be missing. Tootle pip Mike

  • Re: BUG: Scrolling is REALLY non-responsive

Hi Michael Scrolling does seem to have a few issues still to be ironed out. I haven't commented on it recently because I assumed that the matter would be dealt with in the optimisation phase. In general it is too slow to start, like a teenager in the morning, and then rushes away, like a teenager in their fathers car. Tootle pip Mike

  • Re: Installing logos commentaries to logos 4I

Hi Paul, A couple of problems, The current Alpha has a bug in the 'Scan' command that will be fixed in the next update due out on Monday, if you can wait then that might be the best idea. Otherwise make sure that the "Scan Optical Media" command has actually appeared in the drop down menu before pressing return (just to be on the safe side I would click

Hi Jacob I see that you are using the windows version. Any chance of doing video using the Mac Alpha? When I try and change the start date it just jumps back to 1st January. Also the Calendar View is not yet functional on the Mac although the list view works fine. I have been using a paper programme for the reading plan so I really just want L4 to let

  • Re: The expanding " I miss so much

Hi David The one place that prompted the post is the Library pane where the Titles and the Authors are alway truncated. A simple click on the resize mark would be handy to display the full text. You might also like to encourage the government to tax titles longer the 10 words - but don't let this deflect you from your primary role. :-) Tootle pip Mike

Surprised by Hope - Tom Wright (but not available on Logos yet) Is a short, readable study. Logos should be publishing more by this author. Tootle pip Mike

It would be really great to have those two little dashes that expand the column when you click on them incorporated into the columns of Logos 4. Here is what I mean from a finder window... tootle pip Mike

  • M'Cheyne Reading Plan - missed the start date :-(

Hi, Trying to start the above plan on any day other than 1st January seems to be impossible. What I want to do is have it start at the point it would be today. (without having to mark off three months of readings) Any chance? tootle pip Mike

The promise is that the mac version of logos will be at least as feature rich as the Windows version. So I guess you may just have to hold them to the promise. tootle pip Mike

  • Re: Oxford Commentary

Daniel Perhaps you could give us some more information on 'Oxford Commentary' if I search on it in Logos products I get no hits! As far as I am aware every book you can buy from Logos can be read on the Mac. There are some features of the Windows beta that have yet to be transferred to the Mac but they are all on the way.
