  • Re: The windows within windows don't seem very Mac

[quote user="Chris Roberts"] First, not all things Windows are bad. :) No but this window box is! It is real pain (excuse the pun) having to float everything off in order to get it to sit on multiple monitors or effectively use spaces. Now I do agree that magnetic window edges might be a real asset. Second, a few aspects of the UI design are starting

I can add New Living Translation Study Bible to the list - which while the links in the Sub Sections now are live still opens at Chapter 1 when you seek to go to 1 Corinthians 15 :-( Mike

  • Re: Serial Number Question

Seeing as it is Sunday and none of the workers are likely to be around. I will hazard a guess at your problem as I ran across a similar 'feature'. The answer is to ignore the request and just click continue. For stuff sold on DVD Logos have abandoned the requirement of a serial number but have yet to update the installer. Very annoying having retrieved

  • Re: Indexer taking 50-95% of CPU

Joe, I think that you are asking not to have the program! The indexing and disc access is the program reading your resources and building the index that is personal to your library. When it has finished it will make a real difference to the usability of the program. May I suggest leaving it on overnight when you don't want to do anything else with the

  • Its not the 'alpha' that frustrates it the 'fully paid for resources'. We need a really clear set of instructions.

Having read the forum for a while I detect a real willingness to struggle along with the alpha - posting logs and making ironic comments (non US citizens only) all with good humour and esprit de corps (French users only). However the times people get a little frustrated is when they buy new resources and find that there are virtually no instructions

  • Re: Moving a Set of Commentaries on to the Prioritise list

Hi Mike (Strawn) I think that the disc is universal. I installed mine by installing it into 1.2.2 and then getting A12 to 'update resources via the command bar. I had some problems doing this and had to delete a file in the resources folder to get it going but it worked in the end. Good luck Mike (Binks)

  • Re: Moving a Set of Commentaries on to the Prioritise list

Thanks for the info Rosie I am indeed using the Mac Alpha and I think you may be right about it not having this functionality yet. There is a 'Tile' view but no grid view and there is no Series column to be seen. I guess I will have to go all the way down to the bottom of the list and find them when I need them. Should have been renamed Atinedale that

Thanks for answering Joe but ... I am afraid that I only get 'Prioritize this resource' not the option for the series. Is this a bug in my copy?

  • "The" information window seems very keen on The Lord's Supper!

While wondering why the information window wouldn't tell me the meaning o f" kērygma" (1 Corinthians: And Introduction and Commentary - Ch15 verse 3) I noticed that whenever I hover over the word "The" the information window displays The Lord's Supper. Is this a bug or a miracle? I don't understand it! Mike

Hi Tom - Here is a screen shot. 1:10–15: 58 and all above it are active links - ie The verse pops up in a window etc 15:12–58 and all those down the left hand column are not and none are until this section comes to an end ante the commentary resumes at 1:10-17 However I have just noticed that although the passage guide is open at 1 Corinthians 15 the

  • New Living Translation Study Bible

Hi, Another problem with non clickable links The above opened up to 1 Corinthians 15 has clickable links down to 1:10-1:58 after which there is a section 'The resurrection of the dead', none of which links work. After this and from 1:10 - 10-17 the links start to work again. This is a great shame because I have a lot staked on the 'resurrection of the

Hi Tyler I had a similar problem, the magic bullet for me was noticing that the 'little blue icon' was stuck on downloading. In order to get it to read the optical drive I had to cancel downloading before the restart. HTH Mike
