  • Re: Books do not appear in Libronix Resources

I am surprised that this has not happened automatically! Try typing "update resources" in the L4 command line (the top text entry box) a drop down menu should appear. Actually move your cursor to the bottom option - which should just say "update resources" and click on that option. This might solve your problem. Mike

  • Re: Books do not appear in Libronix Resources

Hi Ron, Libronix was Logos' first attempt at a Mac Port it works ok but development has stopped. Logos 4 (L4) is an alpha version of the replacement for Libronix it is fairly buggy and only half works but it is useful for somethings. I would guess (and I might well be shot down here) that the resources that you have are L4 versions - if that is the

  • Re: A-9 'Left' click information?

With regard to the second part of your question. I had similar trouble getting the Bible to relocate to another passage. I found that the commentary was the driving force and changing the reference in the Commentary changed the Bible. I have no idea how to swap the driving force to the Bible - Sorry. Mike

  • Re: Indexing L4 Mac OS

Hi Karl I think that it may not be starting again but continuing where it left off. :-) People have reported the indexing system continuing for days. Strangely my installation only took a few hours to index but I have relatively few resources. HTH Mike

By trial and error I found that I could install (in this case NLT Study Bible) by installing it using 1.2.2 - it magically appeared in the L4 resources. HTH Mike

However I would love it more if we could have tool tips or information window - both at the same time seems overkill. I think the information window option will be great when using duel screens. Tootle pip Mike

I am all for separate windows, I shall have mine set to open in different windows as soon as the feature is available. I like to put my resources where I want them on the screens not in a rigid grid as they are now. After all expose and spaces are great features of the Mac and rendered useless by the current arrangement. If I wanted 'Microsoft Windows

Well Joe it looks like you've done it again. See how these little kindness spread themselves about. Your explanation has made my life a lot easier and it seems you have done the same for Wayne. (thanks for chipping in Wayne - I don't feel so silly now) However Joe, I think that you really should get these replies off quicker - you would have saved me

  • Re: Already starting to get frustrated with the new layout.

I take your point completely Joe. The point I was trying to make was that unless something drastic happened to make the the Alpha layout more flexible was that the assembly line was putting the boot (trunk) where the seats should be. I have however been reassured that the boot (trunk) will be adjustable and we will be able to sit somewhere near the

  • Already starting to get frustrated with the new layout.

I may be missing something here but am I the only one who thinks that that the new layout is annoying? I want the passage guide tucked away on the left hand monitor. I want the bible passage I am studying sitting alongside the page I am making notes on, and I want the commentary I am reading in the middle of the right hand monitor right in front of
