Thanks JT. I’ve just recently come around to seeing the improvements FL has made to the in app/house audio player and thought that I’d give a shot at switching my daily listening over. Thanks for your Input, they’re helpful to set and manage expectations.

  • NET Audio

I have just purchased the NET audio bible to use it for a daily reading plan but cannot get it to sync with or play audio alongside the text like other audio Bibles do. Is there something that I'm doing wrong or is this something that might be able to be fixed at some point? TIA

I have noticed that BDF's NT Index is missing. Despite Logos' search functionality, I find this to be a significant omission from the volume. Is there any chance that we could get it added?

MJ, wouldn’t the NEAR or WITHIN X WORDS operators have circumvented the same verse constraint? If not, how does one do this in the Bible search (surely, there is a way to do this, no?)?

  • Re: Searching Incorrectly?

Thanks for the help, Karl. This did work for me, as you said, in BASIC search, though the same syntax nor the same with "NEAR" added between the two search commands (which, in my understanding, should catch the words across the verse break) did not work in any other search mode (or whatever they are called). This is pretty perplexing. Can anyone shed

  • Searching Incorrectly?

I am curious why I cannot construct a search containing "lemma:ἀποκάλυψις" and "lemma:φανερόω" that will return Romans 16:25-26. None of the following searches will return this hit: lemma:ἀποκάλυψις AND lemma:φανερόω lemma:ἀποκάλυψις NEAR lemma:φανερόω lemma:ἀποκάλυψις WITHIN 15 WORDS lemma:φανερόω ἀποκάλυψιν NEAR ἀποκάλυψιν NEAR φανερωθέντος Am I missing

Appreciate the post, Lonnie. I did watch this review. While the emphasis in the video was saying that it might not be needed by beginning NT greek students, this lexicon is supposed to offer some reconsideration of lexical sourcework and would be a helpful/welcomed addition to have in digital format alongside BDAG, LSJ, GE, MM, etc.

I am curious if there is any talk on a licensing agreement that will enable Logos/Faithlife to offer the Cambridge Greek Lexicon. Any info that can be given re:this resource coming to Logos? TIA

Thanks for the response, Fred. I do have some other notes and annotations on that passage, but I am more specifically wondering why there are 7 note indicators all pointing to the same note. The note correctly appears in my UBS5 (the note was created in this resource) & NA28 only 1x (where it should be before v18), but 4x in my NRSV, 5x in my CSB, 3x
