  • Can't add to Sermon File Addin

As the subject says I can't add any new sermons to my Sermon File Addin. I haven't been able to for a while. I click File/Import Sermons/choose a sermon to add and am told that I can't compile the message. What the error is I don't know. I need to be able to keep up with my sermons.

  • Re: No Beta in almost 2 months?

You know I also look forward to a new Beta becasue it shows the program is growing and getting more user friendly, as well more of the tools we have done without for so long are coming back with new tools to use as well! However an awful thought crossed my little mind as I was reading Bobs reply and it and it was what would we do if someday Logos is

  • Re: suggestion: PBB forum

That's right, I give it two thumbs up! And while we are all learning how to do PBB I think it is needed to have a forum in one place where we can find not only advice but also resources just for Personal Books!

  • Re: Building a PBB Concordance, how should I put the milestones or headings?

Whew! finally I am well enough to get back online again! I've had some stomach virus but it's over. Now as to macros i agree that would be my answer only one problem and it is a little one, i don't know much of anything about macros when it comes to programming. I guess the word would be ignorant.

I was afraid of that. I have tried just using different headings since that would be quicker but it isn't working the way I hoped. Putting a headword at the beginning of each word would take a long time and a lot of hard work! I am starting to feel extra sorry for those poor guys and gals at Logos who do this work. I hope Bob takes real good care of

I have checked out the wiki and even watched some great howto videos as well my problem is I want to be able to look up a word in my concordance the same way I look up a word in dictionaries, not just the letter A. So I guess I need an index.

  • Building a PBB Concordance, how should I put the milestones or headings?

I am building a PB Concordance from an old one which I downloaded some time ago. It is public domain and I hoped to get some use out of it thanks to Logos. What I am concerned about is properly setting up the headings so I can search it later. Should each letter be set up as heading 1 then each word under heading 2 or should I use headwords for each

  • Re: Re-editing PB requires restart?

I did have a lot of problems doing just that. I found out that i was going through too many steps. And the PB wasn't closed. One interesting thing I found out was that I didn't need to delete the book from a catalog entry. All I have had to do is save the changes made in my .docx then hit the Build Book button and it would change itself.

I also wanted to say Thanks this has been quite helpful to me as well! so much so that I have been too busy working on two or three extra PB's at one time leaving little time to get other things done. like mowing the lawn.

So far so great! I opened L4 once (just to see again) before the download was installed and it crashed, then I installed the update and I started up again, then opened the Layout and it is still working as I type this reply! Thanks!

  • Re: My Illustrations

I'll bet everyone thought I was ignoring them! I've had a terrible case of the flu for the past week so I've been offline and in bed I'll try to answer everyone at one time, to get caught up and then tell you what happened. Dave, while I love the illustration section in the passage guide, I also like to keep up with My Illustrations, (the ones I have

I have for some time had My Sermons in Logos 4 and I do use that feature. but one thing l don't have is My Illustrations. And even though I realize My Sermons is more useful I can't help but miss keeping up with the Illustrations I use and having an ability to use them in L4 (yes I have them in Libronix but i would like to have them in L4) .When will

  • Re: Bug L4.2a

[quote user="Bradley Grainger"] Can you reproduce the problem by having only Character Forged from Conflict open (and no other resources/windows open), then switching it into paged view? If so, what page was it open to before the crash? If that doesn't reproduce the problem, are you able to find a simple set of steps that do reproduce the problem?
