Start | ALL Programs | Accessories. Right click Command Prompt and Run as Admin. You can copy the ProcDump command and paste it into the Command Prompt by clicking on the little icon at top left, choosing Edit and then Paste.
Dave, I have opened Command Prompt several times copied the command listed as follows cd
Update: Development is asking if you will collect a crash dump to help them troubleshoot this crash. Please follow the instructions here: http://wiki.logos.com/ProcDump . The crash dump files can be very large, even when zipped. If the zipped file is not too large to email, you can email it to logos4feedback at logos.com
You haven't moved any Logos 4 files on your own have you? Have these been missing since you started using the beta version?
I haven't moved any files but yes they startded missing after being on Beta.

I just can't open anyone of the ones I put in when I first got Logos4 .
Are you possibly trying to open them from the wrong place? After you open the collections from Tools>Collections a window should open to an unnamed collection. If you click on the open beside it you should have a drop

[

there was nothing. to open.
Do you mean that the collection name was still there but no contents in the collection or that the name was missing?
My old collections are still in my program and they are still working fine. I just can't open anyone of the ones

This may sound silly but this past week I wanted to update some of my collections and do some work getting all my books grouped in various collections. I went into Tools>Collections but when I tried to open a few of my old collections to find out what books were in what collection there was nothing. to open. My old collections are still in my program

In Windows 7, any tab that is "pinned" to my taskbar can give me imediate use of the programs that are most important to me, Logos is one on my taskbar. Whenever I hover my mouse over that icon and right click most programs give me a choice of just what I want to go into. PowerPoint, Excel, or Word, allows me to choose which document I want to open

If only there was a way to send you the "layout" I just hope if this is a problem we can get it fixed. It's easy to avoid but it is something that will happen to someone else down the road somewhere I fear.

As to what had happened, I had been studying for my sermon when I finally finished for the evening and had decided to read a book before going to bed, I didn't close the other books in my layout not really thinking there could be a problem. the books i had open were KJV 1900 NASB 1995 KJV 1900 Search Search Spirit Filled Life Study Bible Sermon Note

Just last night I had a small problem with a crash. 7840.Logos4Crash.zip 0081.Logos4IndexerCrash.zip
-
Wouldn't it be great to have the abiliy to pick and choose your icon in the library and on the book just like you can on the main toolbar?
-
Well, chalk it up to my inability I have tried and tried to copy or snip a screenshot of this very problem which I can easily see but I wasn't able to figure out how to get my "snipping tool" up when I was in Logos reading view. I must thank say thank you Dave for doing it for me! You got the very page I was looking for. I love the Reading View but

Okay then, how can I get search on L4.2 to do the same as Fuzzy search?
-
I agree as well. It makes study time fun again

Whew, I thought I was going nuts or something! I was almost aftraid I was forgetting how to read!

I have Logos 4.2a Beta 2 and I noticed a problem while trying to read a book in the Paged view last night. When reading in paged view the pages seem to miss a few words when "turning the page" from one page to another this has happened while reading "How To Write Narrative Sermons" this only happens when viewing in the "Paged" view. Whenever I went

Having a search engine that is capable of finding a verse that not only can I not remember where it is, but I don't know exactly word for word how it went can be a lot of help. Oh, and just between us - Libronix 3.0 wasn't able to find it for me Logos 4.2a did! But that will just stay between us!

I tried it on mine but I didn't have that problem
