Hastings Dictionary of the Bible finally made it!

I am currently reading the Swans are Not Silent series by Piper and wouldnt mind picking them up in the Logos version.

The Boice Commentary Series.

I just returned from my 3rd trip to Haiti in the last 11 months. The children of Haiti have touched my heart in a way I can't explain. I was the group leader for a group of 20, mostly college aged young adults. The two most important programs I used this trip were Google Translate and Logos. I have never led a group before. My first trip was as a member

Thank you so much Mike! I've been a little apprehensive about the content of the devotionals, and I've been praying that I would speak His words. When I reviewed your notes on salt, I saw many of the same thoughts that I used (I missed "not being worth their salt and Sodom & Gomorrah). I love when I get confirmations from the Lord! Thank you again,

Hello fellow Logosians, I am in need of some help and I thought I might be able to find it here on the forums. I am currently on a Missions trip to Haiti that I helped to lead and put together. Our Pastor was supposed to come, but fell ill and cancelled on Friday (We left on Saturday). I am now tasked with putting together our devotional time at night

George, aren't we supposed to use scripture to interpret scripture?
-
Bryan, I found your post helpful. Thank you.
I'll get this thread started with a book from a commentary series I highly recommend. I plan to read all of them, but it's going to take me awhile. The book from the series I read this year that I really enjoyed and highly recommend is James Montgomery Boice's Philippians: An Expositional Commentary .
I read this book

I'd like to know as well. I have been posting them on FB daily, but there are some that are in the DIY Bible Study that I can't seem to track down and it won't let me post them like I can with the ones on my main screen.
Ultimately the fault is mine. Whatever the technical investigation reveals, I am ultimately responsible to deliver the products and services you rely on, and I let you down. -- Bob
Words of a true leader!

Guess I got lucky! The two main versions I use on Logos are the NIV Anglicised 1984 and the ESV.
-
I own the 1984 Anglicised NIV and I live in the USA. Picked it up about a year ago when I couldnt get a copy of the 1984 NIV.
Spurgeon's Commenting and Commentaries Curae Romanae : Notes on the Epistle to the Romans by W. Walford "Walford makes comments of considerable value; he does not stand in the front rank, but his mediocrity is respectable."
I love this quote!

Kent, what about Hastings 5 volume dictionary? This had closed in CP and was later placed back on CP. I was notified that when it closed I would still get it at the original CP closing price ($15). Is this still the case?

I am extremely disappointe in Logos when it comes to the Mobile Ed courses. Bob came on the forum and touted the Mobile Ed course that was placed on CP. The Course went through CP in less than 2 weeks if I remember correctly, so it was obviously a product that could benefit both Logos and the CP users. Since that time, not another Mobile Ed course has

I was really hopeful that with the success of the Mobile Ed NT221 on CP that Logos would offer the rest of the Mobile Ed courses on CP as well. Sadly, they are not, and I simply can't afford them.

It is currently showing that bidding closes on July 11th (2 weeks out) at $90.
-
I saw a slight bump at $60, so Iincreased my bid.
-
I'm in at $50 and would love to see what these courses are about, but I can't really justyify spending more to my wife. I hope you're right Bob.
