All of Daniel. But here is an update: for some inexplicable reason, it started scrolling again. It appears to be working now. It did not last night. But now they are tracking together. I can't explain it. I'm sorry for all the bother. Hopefully, it will continue to work as it is. Is this phenomenon known to have happened before (i.e., a link set will

I posted two screenshots. The first shows the marker for the linked set on the bible tab.

Yes, I manually did that. However when I advance in one of the resources - either the bible or the commentary - the other does not scroll along with it. I've never had this happen before. Usually linked resources scroll together. This is not happening now for some unexplained reason.

Thanks. I had to do two separate screenshots.

The resource in question says that it has Bible and Page indexes.

Where would I find any reference to whether it has a Bible index in the Panel Menu?

  • Link Set Not Working

I'm teaching a Bible study on Daniel and have created a Saved Layout for it in my Logos Desktop App (on a Windows 10 PC). I have the Bibles and Commentaries linked to each other. They are part of the same link set. But, for some inexplicable reason, at this moment, my Bible and one of my commentaries (Walvoord, Daniel the Key to Prophetic Revelation

Thank you both, Andrew and Stephen. Everything seems to be in order now. Here are the steps I have taken: I prioritized my English dictionaries. I had to download them so that they were no longer just resources in my Logos Cloud, but were available locally on my PC I had to allow Logos to complete the indexing cycle. After all that, it worked. My dictionaries

In addition, when I click on 'Look up,' it opens a search panel.

Thank you, Andrew. A lot of those options on the context menu are missing. At one time, on a different computer, those options appeared. I'm going to paste a screenshot of what I have now.

  • Help requested

Something that I always used to be able to do in Logos suddenly doesn't seem to work for me. If there was a word in a resource that I wanted to be able to look up in a dictionary - say the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary, 11th Edition - all I had to do was right-click on a word and one of the choices that always seemed to be available to me was

Great answer, Dave. Thank you. And I erred; I actually did use the syntax of the library filter you indicated above. I do have one other question raised by one of the suggested videos in this thread above. One of the videos suggested that you could go into program settings and turn off automatic new resource downloading. My question in that regard would

One other question. On the PC that I already have Logos installed on, I tried to reduce number of local resources by following the procedure laid out in the video that Phil Gons sent the link to. For whatever reason, the example given in the said video was to remove resources rated less than 2 and higher than zero. The syntax of the filter was as follows

  • Re: Library in the Cloud vs on Local PC

Thanks, Andrew. So you mean that the program won't automatically download all my resources during the installation process? I know it used to do that in the past. It's been a long time since I installed Logos though. But I just got a brand new laptop. It has a solid state drive that does not have a huge amount of hard drive space. So, the last thing

Phil, the video was helpful. However, it addresses how to remove resources locally, once the application is already installed. And it also provides Settings directions to stop the future automatic download of resources (again, once the application is already installed). But what I would like to know is how to install the Logos application on a new device
