There is an issue in the metadata for the Two Horizons commentary series that is preventing series link from working properly. For Two Horizons, the series metadata matches the publication data: "The Two Horizons Old Testament Commentary", "The Two Horizons New Testament Commentary". Since the series data are different, series link considers them different

My biggest question is how often my device must check in with FL to validate its license?
It's my understanding that the license only needs to be validated once when it is installed. After that, Logos could run indefinitely offline. I have gone for 4-6 weeks with Logos functioning offline

Hmm, I can no longer reproduce this behaviour - and there has been not software update in the meantime. Thanks anyway.

Great, thanks.

Thanks Randy, that's good to know.

My layouts have a lot of resources in tabs. On Logos7, they were quite small, so I could see many tabs at once: But in Logos8, each icon is much larger and wider, with empty space to the right, so they take more space and I can see less of them: I'm finding that this makes the tabs less usable as I have to do a lot of scrolling. It would be helpful

My normal layouts have a number of Bibles in one panel and a number of commentaries in another, all of which are linked as Link Set A. In Logos 7, I could be looking at a verse in one of the Bibles, and the commentaries would follow along with the same reference. Whenever, I changed commentary, it would always jump to the same verse that I was looking

When clicking the three dots in a resource panel, and selecting Information, the information panel shows as expected. After I click Done, it disappears, again as expected. But If I then try to select Information again, I notice that it is already ticked in the menu and selecting it merely serves to untick it, with no display. I have to select Information

I spend a lot of time in Logos without Internet connection so, before I upgrade, I wanted to be sure about the usability of the new version: Do any of the new features of Logos 8 require an internet connection to work? Do any existing features that previously worked without an internet connection now require one?
-
I'm confused and worried by this thread. Two questions: a) I currently have Logos 7 set to open straight into my previous layout. If I upgrade to Logos 8, will it still do the same? b) Will that layout look essentially the same as it does now? (Some of the comments in this thread say that things are different and the new version looks "unprofessional
You don’t have to buy a package with additional books. The new Logos 8 libraries are the best we’ve ever built and offered, but we understand that not everyone is looking to grow their libraries with new titles. That’s why we have upgrade options available that include only the new features and datasets to help you

This is actually quite common.
In this resource, or in others? I know that this is true for Vyrso resources, but this is a "logos edition."
I find it very common, particularly in Logos edition commentaries. I often observe that, when a passage is being discussed and another part
I have not found this to exist, as it's specifically prohibited by the standards that technology vendors and retailers follow (PCI Security Standards Council).
Could this be a US-only prohibition? The "bonus removable bookmark" sounds interesting.
The Anglicised NIVs do not currently have reverse interlinears
I'd really like it if they did.

Thanks Graham, this helps me to understand. It turns out that my NIV was set to the Reference (blue), whilst the ESV and REB were set to Text (red). When I change the other bibles to Reference, I get exactly the same behaviour. What is weird though, is that choosing reference seems to behave a bit like a radio button - if I select Reference in the ESV
What Program Setting affects "reference information"?
The Program settings is: Copy Citations: No What I'm seeing is, when coying Matthew 12:16 (every verse I tried behaves the same) by control-C and pasting into Notepad on Windows I get just the verse as expected: He warned them not to tell others about him. But when
