I use this nearly every day. Had it so long I just assumed I got it from the logos site. I think you can get it here and it integrates w/ logos... http://www.ivpress.com/cgi-ivpress/book.pl/code=2480

Would be great to have ACCS and RCS side by side on Logos. Since RCS is just getting started I think it might take a few years before Logos can adapt it. I vote for Logos to include RCS. ASAP!

It would be great to have these two commentaries side by side in logos. I hope it happens, but I believe it will take a few years. The Reformation volumes are just starting to be written and published. I don't think logos offered the ACCS until it was almost completed. For what it's worth, here's my vote for offering them in logos ASAP!

I am shutting down the entire app by double clicking the iPad button and then closing the app. How do I close the resource?

I'm reading the Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture on my pc laptop. When I finish, I go to layouts, update to current snapshot, and click on the sync button. Then when I open my iPad, sometimes it opens to the same location, sometimes it does not. For a few weeks in Jan & Feb of this year, it was opening to the same page pretty regularly. Sometimes

I thought I received several desktop updtaes and at least one iPad update in January and February. I just thought the success I wa seeing syncing my desktop w/ iPad was because of these. You may be right, I was just lucky. Though, it's a shame we still have to rely on luck more than a year after promised fixes.

After new updates at beginning of 2012, syncing was working well. Then another update, and you guessed it... no more sync w/ iPad. Disappointment has returned.

Any hint as to how long we must wait? My last encounter with support, months ago, ended with the same words, yet syncing with iPad is promoted as a major selling point of this software. Do you think fixing this is a priority?

  • Sync with iPad

I bought Logos because I thought it promised that I could sync between my laptop and iPad. I thought this meant that I can pick up on my iPad where I left off reading on my laptop. This never happens. Tried fixing through support several times but no fix. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick I don't know? Or am I expecting too much?

  • Sync

Why is syncing with pc so unreliable? Sometimes syncs once a day, other times no sync for a week.

  • Notes on iPad

I appreciate that we now have two linked windows on the iPad. I'd love to have my notes in a parallel window for teaching and preaching purposes. Any time soon?

Sorry, wrong post. Meant to say would become a better teaching/preaching tool if prepared text and notes could be saved and presented side by side to the instructor/preacher.

Yes, would become a better teaching tool if notes could be included with text to eliminate the need to close pdf, open Bible, etc.

Would become a useful teaching aid if notes were available on an iPad.
