  • Marking sections read in reading plan

Anyone else challenged by this? When I get to the end of a section of my reading plan on the iPhone, there's a small touchable link to the next chapter/verse in my plan or a "Mark Read" button. Sometimes, when I touch that, I go to the location or mark the day read. However, more than 50% of the time, I somehow "miss" and turn the page, instead. I go

  • Re: Tired of Logos "ads" on Iphone start up

I don't mind the ads being there. I just would like them to go away once I've read them... Or give me an opportunity to remove them once read. And, as has been mentioned, an opportunity to choose the categories I see...

It looks like the NLT Hebrew reverse interlinear files are not available, yet, but the license is included (see note 1 on that page). I get the Interlinear in the NT but not the OT. You?

  • Re: Best Operating system using P5?

I really like Windows 7 under Parallels 5. It seems a bit more efficient (3-year-old MBP with 3 usable GB of RAM), and I like the way Logos 4 runs on it.

  • Re: Write notes

I'm hoping that the iPhone will sync with notes created in Logos 4. Anyone know if this is planned?

  • Re: Can Notes Be Printed?

Thank you, guys. Yes, I use Evernote, as well, and there are certainly alternatives, but none are really integrated with Logos, and that's kinda the point. In fact, if Notes sync'd to my iPhone, that might be enough (I'd use my iPhone from stage), but as far as I can tell, that doesn't work... Just seems unusual. I use notes to compile my message, so

Is this by-design? I guess I'll have to find a different way to compile and then print my notes for a message... how do you all do it?

From reading other posts, I'm thinking this is likely a corrupted resource... how do I figure out which one and what to do? 2010-01-22 21:25:19.928 Logos4Indexer[1295:207] Resuming indexing after pause timeout. assertion "pszPeriod != NULL" failed: file "References.cpp", line 452 assertion "LanguagesAreCompatible(m_pLanguage, string.GetLanguageObject

...and no, I didn't restart my Mac... I certainly hope that Logos will not require restarting a Mac! The only time I typically do that is when I update the core operating system...

Sorry... yes, right clicking is how I see that message. Well... ok... but if this is the case, why does the menu bar still say, "Updates ready (recommended)"?

  • Updates ready (recommended)

Well, Logos 4 Mac just downloaded 1GB + of updates. However, I can't figure out how to get it to use them and update! The pulldown on the indexer icon in the menu bar shows "Updates ready (recommended)", and clicking on that seems to do nothing. I've stopped and restarted Logos 4 Mac... Is there something else I'm supposed to do? Thanks...

Thanks, Dave. That looks like the issue I have seen, and also gives me a workaround for now. Thanks, again!

  • Re: Offline Reading Plan

I would suggest waiting until the 27th of January to see what Apple might announce then. It's very likely that an Apple eReader/tablet/something like will be showing up then and you might consider it an alternative to the iPod Touch (albeit at a higher price).

Well, I read tomorrow's reading on the iPhone and it is not marked as read on the iPhone. Is there something that I'm supposed to do to mark it read? I am using a plan that includes OT, NT, Ps, and Pr and when I get to the end, there is no "mark read" or "done". Thanks...

  • Reading plan not being marked read

When I finish reading my daily reading plan, it is not being marked read on my iPhone. It's also not being marked read on the sync system, and so isn't marked read on my Logos 4, either. The other way works (marking read on Logos 4 marks read on the iPhone). I think this has worked once in a while, but usually it does not work. Help?

Sorry I couldn't help! FWIW, I also tried it on my MacBook Pro with only 1GB dedicated to the Windows 7 VM in Parallels. No issues with it, either!
