I agree. Being able to run "online" functions offline would truly make this app the perfect travel companion!
I agree wholeheartedly!

I had the same response. I was disappointed that the PG did not operate as expected. However, I was happy to find at one point that a PG run before I went offline worked for me when out of range. It pulled up the previously run PG for a while. Then, when it tried to connect again and could not, it gave me the offline message and would not bring my previous

I do Greek sentence diagrams. Usually only if my peri cope is under ten verses. Otherwise I select only verses central to theme or where difficulties exist in order to clarify.

Thanks for clarifying things a bit for me. I have a laptop but got the iPad for greater portability. I am a little disappointed by the need to have wifi to use the PG but my priority resources can be called readily. Not an ideal solution but I think I may use the tether option occasionally. Have to look into cost. I have a grandfathered unlimited data

  • Passage guide offline

I took my newly purchased iPad with all my downloaded resources to the park hoping to get away from a hectic house full of kids and enjoy some quiet study in the peaceful atmosphere of God's creation. Much to my surprise, when I tried to run the passage guide I was promptly informed by the App that I could not run the passage guide offline. I thought

Downloaded proclaim and started to work an a presentation. Purchased a month on air through the program. Checked my account and the order is invoiced and my card is charged. Worked for hours to set up a presentation and the little green light indicates everything is syncing. I closed the program and now it will not open the presentation. It indicates

Interesting. I changed update setting on my desktop and my laptop to Default instead of Beta and an update and the Dictionary of the Apostolic Church both downloaded to both machines.

I enabled logging, opened my Bible to devotional passage in reading view, as soon as it expanded to reading view the EG pulled it back down to normal position and pulled it back to the EG passage. Logging files attached.
Sounds like the two are linked together and EG refreshes with each passage in the resource.
Actually, I was reading in the reading view in one of my Bibles this morning with the EG open and when the EG refreshed it took me out of reading view and pulled my Bible back to the passage set in the EG. I guess the EG is

  • Exegetical Guide Refreshes Periodically

For some reason, the Exegetical guide refreshes periodically and steals the focus from other tabs/panes so that when I am reading a resource in my layout and advancing with the space bar, the exegetical guide will refresh, steal the focus, and I am no longer able to advance in the resource I am reading without clicking in the window of the resource

Yes, 4.3, though I am not running Mac, but windows. Also, when I am reading and using the space bar to advance in another tab/window the guide sometimes steals the focus and the tab no longer advances in the resource I am in but jumps to the command/ref box in the guide.

I selected the option to remove smart tags and it took care of all of them and compiled nicely. That was after I disabled logos smart tags via add-in options though. It may be different if you do not disable the Logos smart tags first.

I removed the smart tags from my original document in Word 2007 and the references show up after a rebuild. In Word Options select Add-Ins Select Smart Tag from the drop down list and hit Go Uncheck Logos Smart Tag Close Options Dialogue In the document the Smart Tags will still be there Find a smart tag and hover over the smart tag until the smart

For some reson, It strips the Bible references out of the compiled version. The Word Document had all the smart tags but after the build there are no references. i.e (Rom. 8:28) ended up as ().

deleted Sentence Diagram files again and everything is running fine. Sentence diagram files open up blank though, and cannot create new ones. I expect I will have to keep my SD files in the recycle bin and restore them after a fix is made available.
