• Inconsistent Syncing on Desktop of Highlights made on Android Tablet

I'm wondering if there is a setting I have to make on my Android tablet, or particular process I need to go through when finished with the tablet, in order for highlights made on the table to sync quickly and consistently on the desktop. As it is now, highlights made on the tablet usually get synced on the desktop, but it can take f-o-r-e-v-e-r. In

  • On Android, I'm confused about "All Notes" vs "Notebooks"

I've been having problems with highlights made in a resource on my Android tablet, not syncing properly on my Windows Logos 8. So I was poking around a little on my tablet to see if there was a setting not set properly there. ( I doubt that it matters, but the resource is titled "The Lost World of Adam and Eve: Genesis 2-3 and the Human Origins Debate

I just checked several past commentary purchases. The price per page for these three ZECOT volumes (Ruth, Jonah, Obadiah) is well over three times what I paid for any of the other purchases, including two previous purchases for ZECNT volumes. I think I'll pass for now on the ZECOT volumes.
Remember that Ruth, Jonah and Obadiah themselves are short books. I don't think you'll find many (if any) commentaries are as long and detailed on Obadiah for instance.
Hi, Paul! Very true that these are short books. That's one of the reasons I was feeling they were a bit over-priced. The "per page" price is quite
Sorry Rick, but I haven’t had a chance to go over them. I’m planning on doing some Bible lessons in Spanish based on these short OT books. I will be using those as a base. I’ll try to post when I get to it (It’ll be til early next year, though. $35 doesn’t seem so bad — you can always return them

  • "Hearing the Message" VS "Zondervan Exegetical"

Does anyone know if these two Zondervan commentary series offered in LOGOS are actually the same thing? Daniel Block has videos discussing the purpose of both titles in YouTube. Based on those videos, I got the impression that both commentary sets were approached in the same way, but that the Zondervan Exegetical set is more technical. Here are the

Well... I took the plunge on July 1st, and purchased both BDAG and HALOT. Since then, I've been doing some word studies to see what these two resources would add to my word-study "take-aways", above what I could get from the other lexical resources I already owned as listed in my original post. So far, neither resource has added any new insight. I.e

One minor note/observation about the translations section, is that even though the settings for that section is set to use the default Bible, the setting doesn't necessarily stick. E.g., my default Bible is the NIV, but if I initiate the Word Study from within the ESV, the translation section is based on the ESV. That doesn't bother me any--in fact

  • Impact of Lexical Resources on Sections of the "Bible Word Study" Guide

When using the "Bible Word Study" guide, the results in the "LEMMA" section will obviously be highly dependent on the lexical resources in a person's library. My expectation is that the results presented in the other sections of the guide are not impacted by the lexical resources one owns. Am I on track?

Beloved, I'm not sure how it happened, but it seems a part of the HALOT entry was repeated over and over and over and over... etc.. In any event, this may be my last post in this thread as it takes a looooooooooooooong time to load and I keep getting a message asking if I want to terminate the process of a long running script.
