  • Re: Adding Resource to Info Tab

Yes, I figured I should include the solution. Simply go to the library, double click on a resource and select prioritize. This will bring up another window. I put it higher on the prioritize list of resources. I have used another dictionary for quite some time, but now would like to try this one. The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia.

  • Adding Resource to Info Tab

Hello. Is there a way to ad an encyclopedia (ISBE) to the info tab? By example if I click on a word the definition shows up in various dictionaries, but I would also like to ad the encyclopedia I recently purchased. - - - Graciously, Gary

  • Charles Spurgeon Morning and Evening

I see this listed as public domain in Logos. Does that mean I can print it out and or translate it to another language and freely give to an unreached people group?

Hi Kevin, Yes, I saw that site and yes would be super helpful to have it in logos to be able to see it in English and Khmer together. Like a parallel. Gary

  • Khmer Bible

Greetings, I have done a brief search for the Khmer Bible on Logos. Is there a plan to have one electronically? I have a hard copy of the English/Khmer version. Wondering if there is a plan to put one with in Logos?

No blame. Just making them aware.

I spoke with Bob concerning this, he was apologetic. Will see if they are able to offer a news feed that comes from a greater Biblical world view.

Can also see how perhaps "bringing forth" in verse 6 could be what they were saying with the "springing from" knowing that God is living water. Just a thought.

If you are moving your computer system, I would highly encourage you to do a backup. You can do backblaze for $5 a month. You should do a local as well. Hard drives can get damaged in a move so definitely do a back up. Logos is no issue. You just sign in and it will load. There is only an issue sometimes if you are moving to another machine. You sign

Right. I even called Logos and they said they can't do anything about it, but for me to ask on the forum. They did give me Bob's email, the president of FaithLife.

  • New Links to Christian Post

Is there anyone else on this site that knows Christian Post is not edifying?

Hey Rick, Yea, that was my original post. Seems there would be some sort of mindfulness of what is allowed in Logos. Meaning if it links from within, it should not point people to unedifying sites. One goes to Christian Post, which is not Christian. I had to click away from an article, due to seeing a photo of a woman on top of a guy in a car. Simply

  • Re: Translation Discrepancy Question

Hmm, would encourage moving to the NKJ, especially if you plan to study. I found that the NIV is often not a meat-full translation. When I went to school, they had us use the NASB, later for discipleship, they encouraged us to move to the NKJ. This is a paragraph thought as outlined in NKJ: 3 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

Hello. Who would I talk to about this newsfeed in Logos Bible Software?

  • Re: News

Thank you guys. I have been out of the country in Haiti for nearly three years. Coming back and then being exposed back to the US media is much culture shock. Bummer to not be able to get a news source that has a more conservative approach. Wonder if FaithLife knows about the unbiblical content that they link to.

I believe I have tried the Faithlife news feature in logos and it takes me to the Christian Post. Usually has advertisements on the right. Its mostly inappropriate photographs.
