  • how to set up different commentaries

Please help me with this one. Let's suppose I have up (in the middle pane) one of several Bibles. Underneath is the Interlinear. Beneath that again, is a commentary. What I would like to do, is open an additional commentary in a separate tab. Clicking on the Parallel passages, another commentary will open up, but will replace the one I just had opened

Well my good man, I do stand corrected. And so should the good folks at Logos. I was told explicitly that there were no specials, including TLOT through Facebook. Appreciate you putting me onto this. :-)

Thank you again for your reply. Just talked to Logos and the Facebook special for the TLOT for 69.95 isn't. It's a *might be* in the future but not now according to them. One wonders why it would then be posted to Facebook for the supposed reduced price.

Mark, your expertise is much appreciated. As Rosie has stated in a posting a ways back, * Sometimes too much information is counterproductive -- you don't actually get down to the business of studying the text because you're spending so much time reading all the lexicons and commentaries .* An overload in the brain (especially when it has ripened somewhat

  • New International Dictionary of the Old Testament - Logos format

It was said back in January of 2010, that this Dictionary was not in Logos format. Please pardon my ignorance, but has this changed? I've looked at it on Logos, but nothing is said one way or the other.

Ok - I wish you to keep smiling as I ask you to give me the instructions for the following please --- 1) From scratch, show me how (what you mean by) to link two Bibles together. In my search right now, when I type in a word, four different translations come up. Does this come close to what you mean here? 2) Then can you inform me as to how to open

Rosie, thank you for clarifying this for me. Appreciate the pictures showing me what's going on. Denise, let me see if I'm following you. I've just woken up (I think) so I'm still partially in neutral. Let's say I right click on the Lemma or the strongs number, I see a list of Dictionaries that I can open. I see TWOT, so I click on that. That brings

  • How to prioritize a dictionary

Maybe you good folks could give me a bit of help with this one. Let's suppose I bring up Gen 1:1 ( or any OT passage) in the passage guide (not the command bar) - when this comes up in three panes let's say, the Interlinear gives me Strongs for the Dictionary. I've prioritized my Dictionaries in Library to TWOT - but still Strongs is the Dictionary

Sorry about the confusion with regards to George's response to Is Mebin. A quick glance and I thought George was talking to me being from Yugoslavia. Apologies. I edited that particular posting. I think I'm in need of a slight nap!!!
