Thanks Melissa - installed and indexing now as we speak - well, pardon me, I meant as we type!!??! :-}

Thank you Thomas for your reply, as to the others. I've clicked on the first site you mention, and I get "Diagnostic Logging" ----- nothing happening other than that to my knowledge. I clicked on the second site you gave, and I get "Uploading logs" --- but again, nothing seems to be happening. Now as you probably guess(ed) - I've not done this before

After downloading updates this morning, I see upon rebooting the computer, I get this message "Logos Bible software 4 Indexer has stopped working. Accidently, I rebooted the machine when indexing and didn't notice it was doing so. Now I get this message after rebooting twice. Your advice will be much appreciated as to fixing this. Thanks! Lonnie, I'm with you on this one. The Biblical Illustrator is one that definitely should be included with Logos.

Kevin & Dave, thank you for your helpful replies. Your being on this forum is appreciated by us who are less than Greenhorns ! :-}

I've read the link quickly but thinking I can get a more direct answer here. I've backed up Logos4 to a Thumbdrive. Apparently then, there is a specific file there to click to reinstall, correct? What again is that particular file called. Also, as to a book downloaded - let's say I lose it, and want to get it again. Where do I go - back to Logos to

Ok - let me edit my note - I'll follow the link you've given. Apparently then, my questions should be answered here. Thanks for this!

Hopefully, this won't be tedious to the forum members. When I first downloaded Logos 4, went to the directory where found and backed it up on a Thumb Drive. I'm under the impression, if I hurl that thing into another computer, I can actually install Logos 4 on that particular computer. Am I correct? Also, I've downloaded a couple books.And no doubt

Thanks again Rosie for your help. Hopefully Logos will attend to this in a not to distant update.

Thanks for the comebacks. Fred, I can "dock this tab" but it doesn't return to where it was originally. It goes as a tab next to the *Information.* If you've got something else up your sleeve, I'll be ready to take your advice. Rosie, thanks for the Shift +F11 tip. This might be something though, for Logos to upgrade - to have an option to put that

Hopefully, I'm asking these questions on the correct part of the forum. If not, please advise. I've just watched the video on Text Comparison. I was shown that right clicking on that, I can bring it up into a floating window to compare Bible versions. Two questions if you will --- 1) How can or do I restore Text Comparison back to where it was before

Thank you Rosie for those two extra points.The Book(s) I'm crying for, would be the Biblical Illustrator. Another Bible software program has it, so it would be nice to see Logos take it on. As you say, I guess it does depend on a lot of variables. Hope all is well in Vancouver. My wife comes from Vancouver Island, Victoria.

This is an interesting / informative reply Floyd. Thank you for this!

Am a user now, and definitely would like to see the Biblical Illustrator added to Logos.

Clear as can be Graham. Thank you for your warp speed reply sir! Appreciated!

I am almost reluctant to ask this, but I've done a search and can find nothing. I would like to know how to suggest a book for Logos and how to put a bid in on it. I am not sure I'm even asking the question correctly, but let's suppose I am. Your instructions will be appreciated. Thanks!

I think the thread you gave me Kevin, sums it all up. Logos has done and is doing a spectacular job. Very good sir!!!

Hi Kevin, have you heard that there might be something like an Interlinear in the words for the AV or is that something we might grow old waiting for. As you say, 2 out of three is quite acceptable! :-)
-
I notice for the KJV - 1900 / Cambridge KJV paragraph have Interlinears - I can find none for the AV. Is it that there is none, or is there a way to bring it up? I notice no Interlinear on the top of the page for the AV as in other translations. Help will be appreciated.
