• Which Base Package

I have a friend studying part-time in Baptist college alongside ministry in a local baptist church. He is looking at buying a Logos package. I recall a lot of helpful comparisons on the forum a few years ago, but can't find it now. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have done a few searches on the forum but either came up blamk or too many

  • Dynamic Pricing Issues

I have received an email offering dynamic pricing on the WBC series - 5 volume for $53.86 or I can buy them separately for $49.95?!? Is there a problem?

  • Re: Maps in Atlas

Thanks Mark, it was the fact that something irrelevant got put there! Also does it not use the maps we already have eg Logos Deluxe Map Sets or others associated with our library?

  • Maps in Atlas

Just did a PG for 1 Thess and this is the only entry under Atlas... Any ideas?

  • Re: Wrong volume is in the drive

I non-quick formatted the card to NTFS in the tablet and it's been fine since. Give it a try.

I would rather keep away from NTFS so there are no 'ownership' issues if copying data to/from another PC... The alternative card (Kingston 64Gb) is also formatted xFat and works no problem at all, but is quite slow resulting in "Program not responding" on searches, Layout changes etc. I will try another Sandisk as it seemed to be about 50% faster.

  • Re: Wrong volume is in the drive

I had the same problem. tried formatting every which way, Logos would start indexing and then after 30 mins or so say "wrong volume" - even though it had been the right volume up til then, I ended up ordering an alternative card and that has worked fine (Kingston 64gb) albeit slower. Will try another Sandisk or Samsung for better performance later this

  • Re: Installing Logos to an SD Card

Thanks for the prompt reply. I feel somewhat stupid... I simply ignored the dialogue box and typed E:\ and it was accepted!

  • Installing Logos to an SD Card

I recently bought my wife an HP Pavillion x2 64gb win 8 tablet so replace a failing laptop. Unfortunately much of the 64Gb is taken up by a restore partition and win 8.1 upgrade files. I bought a 32 Gb SD card, but the Logos installer does not give that option to install, I have tried formatting the drive (E:\) as both NTFS and XFat, but whilst appearing

You’d be surprised how many typo reports we get from users in the U.K. who think we’ve misspelled “center.”
Perhaps they need to learn American English
I'd like to say it's "our" language but we got it from the French/German/Nordic etc etc.So I guess we'll have to be good neighbours

Thanks Dave, you can even create one from a collection or add as you go along. I had 'forgotten' this. Much appreciated.

Shame, but thanks Dave. It would be nice if you could do a Bibliography citation from Logos too!

  • SBL Citations and Bibliography

I have to use SBL citation for my MA essays. I have installed the SBL plugin for Word Sources and have Logos 5 set to SBL Handbook of Style. Is it possible to populate the Word source manager with the info from Logos automatically rather than me having to retype it in. I understand I get the Logos citation from cut and paste, but also want the info

  • heifer NEAR hyssop

Why is the search above NOT finding Numbers 19:6, isn't it NEAR enough? And the priest shall take cedarwood and hyssop and scarlet yarn, and throw them into the fire burning the heifer. The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Wheaton: Standard Bible Society, 2001), Nu 19:6. AND does, but it could have been in adjacent verses

I entered the search "eden NEAR (table OR altar)" and the results lists hits with the word "NEAR"?!? Is this a bug? 6153.Eden NEAR (table OR Altar).pdf

  • Re: Chart of Logos 4 & Logos 5 Packages

Andrew, I think you mis-understood the process I suggested. Logos declare a 'print value'/base value. They then discount this to offer the base package price, which may be further discounted via a special deal, so I am simply suggesting they could be open about what %age is being given. 100% is not unreasonable, last year they offered 100% credit for

  • Re: Catholic Library = Verbum

    Mike,
I hope this won't confuse the topic any more, but I'll give one exagerated example. Let's say you owned a resource that had a value of $100. And let's say we threw together a package that had 3 items all sold indivually at a price of $100 and the one item you owned was in that package. And that the entire package
