Also, for the books for which a critical apparatus exists: how complete is the Logos apparatus? Does it contain all variants found in the printed edition, or only "major variants?"
It is not complete. I have no idea what edition this resource reflects. Do not rely on it.
I'll look into this. Do you have another example of a typo? The one you reported matches the print.
You have three typos in the screenshots I sent when I compare them to the scanned pages on the product page: כתכתיו רפיצת רכצת

The Apparatuses contain numerous typos more than 4 typos a page. Originally 4 apparatuses they were merged into one, and then one is not certain which entry belongs to which apparatus. Moreover, the Kopfleiste is not linked to the page. How do I know when the page changes and a new Kopfleiste should appear? How are we to use this resource even if and
This one is not on Logos but it is on Kindle: Introduction to the New Testament: Reference Edition by Carl R. Holladay
Thank you! I have found a previous edition and it looks promising.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I didn't want this to become a debate on what is the "right" way to read the NT. I will have a look at Brown which I actually already own on a different platform (not THAT one), and I will get hold of Ehrman's introduction, which I find extremely interesting. As king Josiah so wisely noted, to dive deeper I will
The style could be author's biased paraphrase, or an enumeration of scholarly conclusions with or without response. Sometimes it is simply a bare bones survey with references to point readers to the sources to decide for themselves.
This suits me.

I am interested in reading a thorough and comprehensive critical introduction to the NT. The book should be written from a secular and academic point of view. It should be technical, and assume I already know Greek and something about Hellenistic culture. What scholarly resource would you recommend for me in Logos or as a hardcopy? many thanks, David

Alignment: maybe you could insert the two texts into a table? Italics: I am on a mac. Do you see the Hebrew text in italics? I only reported the Hebrew text In Hebrew characters.

update?
Good timing. I just logged in to pass along that we pushed out an update 5 minutes ago. Thank you for your patience on this.
Good news is that the many graphic interchanges of similar characters seem to be gone (I cannot guarantee 100%, but from what I can see by a
Correction: The update will be pushed out tomorrow, November 13th.
The corrected resource is much improved. Nevertheless, I managed to find 15-20 more typos through a cursory reading of the Hebrew examples. I reported most of them.

Can I change the font in the text comparison window to SBL Greek?
No, that isn’t available in L8
Thank you! Obviously it takes time to get used to something new.

Where do you see the recent updates/downloads on L8?
You can also switch to Details view, add the Last Updated column, then sort it in reverse order. Look at the bright side: The book as it is could serve as an excellent exercise for textual criticism students. "Find all the variants between Tov's Fortress edition and his Logos edition and categorise them according to their origin"

The amount of typos is unbelievable. I reported about 10 and then I stopped. ד and ר interchange in almost every other word. Here are but a few examples:
