  • Re: Switch keyboard

I should add that not only am I technologically impared, I also use a German system. It just occurred to me that "Windows System Command" refers to some device that is translated differently. If I go to "Systemsteuerung" (=system control) there is a link for "hardware," which leads to another link with "keyboards." However, when I click on this link

  • Re: Switch keyboard

Hi Kenneth, "use the Windows system command to change to the desired keyboard" I've successfully installed the keyboard (or so a pop-up window tells me), but that was that. I have no idea what to do next. Could you tell me how to find this "system command" by which I can put the keyboard to use? Sorry if this is an obvious question. I struggle with

Sorry Robert, I was a bit hasty.

John, you're right! Sorry, didn't notice that. Though, as Robert indicated, Logos 4 has dramatically slowed down my entire computer.

  • Re: Syncing "Cited By" with my "grammars" collection

Hi Jon, re: 1, you're right, that helps. Though if there are a bunch of footnotes you still have to guess which one re:2, this applies to all the grammars I have: e.g. Gesenius and Davidson's syntax. To be honest, I'm not sure which version I have. I had the beta-version, which has been updated a number of times ...

  • Phrase Marker analysis windows don't pop up

In Logos 3, when I hovered over a "node" in the A-F phrase marker analysis, a pop-up window explained the abbreviations (e.g. app = apposition). This doesn't happen in Logos 4. Just a small detail, but thought it may be worth sharing.

  • Syncing "Cited By" with my "grammars" collection

They don't sync well in Logos 4. 1) If a Biblical verse is only cited in a footnote, the correct footnote is not highlighted when the visual filter is on. This is in contrast to Logos 3. As a result, I have to hover my mouse over all the footnote references and read them to find my verse. Try, e.g. Hos 1:9 in the "ל" section of Waltke's Introduction

  • Re: Searching for a Hebrew word in a dictionary

I tried the whole thing again and saved it to my desktop. This time I was able to click on set up. I'm told that everything has been successfully installed. I can see it when I go to control panel and check out my software. But I have don't know where to find it. How do I open the software? I've read the pdf but that doesn't tell me how to find it once

Thanks guys. I don't have Windows Vista, but the one before that. I'm very weak on computers. I downloaded to file with Google Chrome. I get the option to "show in folder." When I click on this, a "Downloads" file opens up an one icon has an image of a zip/compressor thing with the title "LogosBiblicalHebrewKeyboard." I have a German keyboard. Which

  • Re: Searching for a Hebrew word in a dictionary

Thank you. I saw that, but thought it was only for Logos 3. I clicked on the link, clicked "unzip," and was then told that 9 files had successfully unzipped. But after that, nothing happens. I know little about computers, so I don't know what to do next. When I open to the file where that which I have downloaded is kept and then click on the icon, I

  • Searching for a Hebrew word in a dictionary

Logos 4 is a dream. However, one can no longer type in Hebrew in Logos 4, which I really don't like (at least, I can't figure it out, seeing as F2 doesn't work any more). I find typing in English in the morphology search counterintuitive and "clunky." I'd rather just get straight to the word rather than guessing and searching. This is particularly a
