  • Re: A sincere "thanks" for the Mac version

With regards to Cross-Platform consistency and the Mac Idiom my opinion is do whatever works for a programme like Logos, with a deferential nod to, in this case, Macs GUI guidelines, but not to be held in digital bondage to it. Logos's (Logos' ) needs are different from other programmes, whether Mac or PC. For example, look at the context menu we use

Paul, (Fine name, by the way) I know exactly what you're talking about. When I had Windows I used BibleWorks and the workflow was super speedy via the commandline because amongst other things you just typed in the reference in shorthand and . Having said that, auto-completion can be a handy extra, but please, not compulsory as it is now! Just my ha

I'm having the same problem. If I move from one space, where Logos A15 is, to another, mostly where my word-processing programme is, then when I come back Logos A15 has disappeared! The behaviour is, however, not consistent. I just tried it again to make sure my report was correct and just to see if there was a clash with Cinch, a simple window manager

  • Alpha 14 - Logos4Mac just getting better and stabler!

I'd noticed a dramatic improvement in stability in A13 & A13A (or actually just A13A, because A13 wasn't around long enough...!) in comparison with A12 and A11, but A14 is robuster by far. What I mean to say is that when the OSX beachball started to spin in A11 and A12, that was it - a long hang or immediate crash! But in A13 it could sometimes survive

  • Re: 13a - Keyboard Shortcuts and Focus

Here, here. This exactly what I miss since giving up BibleWorks on the Windows platform! Using the Function keys to give focus to various parts of the screen, and having focus readily available where one wants to type. And additional comment to the above posting: When filling a search field in Search and L4 comes up with the Bible book, why can't I
