  • Camp Logos DVD license.

Our senior pastor and I (assistant pastor) are considering purchasing Camp Logos 1 on DVD. We both have Logos and believe we would benefit greatly with the instruction videos. We would like to split the cost and each copy to our hard drives. We want to make sure that this is allowed by the license agreement with this series and that it would be physically

I'd just like to say that I'm in the "think it's slow" and "complicated" camp. HOWEVER, I have a love/hate relationship with it. I HATE the hours of research it takes to learn and the cost I'm about to spend on some DVD's (almost as much as the program) and the slowness of the program response at times. I LOVE what Logos does and as I learn more I love

  • Point and click?

Is there a way to point and click to move around in an open Bible or is the only way to go to a passage done by typing in the address? I'm often leaning back or turned sideways and am just using my mouse. I often have to turn from my side desk and/or put down what's in my left hand and go for the key board to change passages. In Quick Verse I was able

“ Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away

  • Re: Camp Logos 1 or 2?

David, Thank you for your time. You have been very helpful. Our senior pastor and I will probably go in together on this. But we might as well wait until the end of the month to see if it pops up in the pastor appreciation specials. Thanks again!

David, Thank you for your reply. What do you think about the manuals? I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to memory. Do you think it would be better to have the two manuals that could be opened in front of me and to reference or the DVDs? In His Peace, Fred

  • Camp Logos 1 or 2?

I'm considering purchasing the Camp Logos DVDs and have noticed there is a pre-pub on Camp Logos 2. I have a couple of questions. First, is Camp Logos (1) based on L4 or is it an older version? Second, I can only purchase one, which would be more wise purchasing 1 or 2? Thank you for your time. I did read a couple of the other Camp Logos posts but didn

  • Re: Undo a download.

Say it aint so!!! I have to go through this process indiviually and restart Logos for each book??? It would be easier to uninstall Logos and reinstall??? Maybe easier for me to just start using Quickverse again. I'm a simpleton and seems like Logos makes things much more complicated then they need to be. Like say..."right click" on a book and select

  • Undo a download.

I ordered the free collection that came out with a crazy amount of books. I've been ignoring the emails telling me they were ready and was going to cancel the order but never got to it. Today Logos notified me there was an upgrade to down load so I did. Well now I've got hundreds of books in my library I shouldn't have ordered and will never use. Can

Richard, Yes it was linked to the text comparison. I changed it to follow and it stopped jumping. That was my issue. I remember a few days back changing how it was linked because it wasn't following along. Just don't know what I'm doing!! Thank you all for taking the time to help me with this. I use the very basics of Logos a lot but know very little

I have Bible Study library 4f . I'm working in what I think was the basic screen set up that defaults from Logos which is five windows. There is the passage guide open in the main (large left window) and the scripture open in the middle top window. When I scroll to read the passage it is jumping as I have described. This seems to be the ONLY window

  • Text is jumping.

I posted this in the general forum and it was suggested I post it here so here it is... I'm running window 7 64 bit with a corei7. Since I've download version 4.3 I've been encountering an annoying what must be new feature. When I'm scrolling through a passage and stop scrolling the lines jump. They jump, it seems, to make sure the top line is not cut

Since I've download version 4.3 I've been encountering an annoying what must be new feature. When I'm scrolling through a passage and stop scrolling the lines jump. They jump, it seems, to make sure the top line is not cut in half by the window border. It sure is annoying to try to read and scroll with it jumping all most every time I stop scrolling

Well said Richard. Thanks for all your wise and truthful comments regarding the Church. These are truths I’ve grown in and press forward with. I have edited my post and ask you all please forgive me for my insinuation. I should never have posted in the first place. In His Peace, Fred

Halo, There is nothing wrong with making money. And indeed I believe the ultimate purpose of Logos is for the betterment of Bible Study. I just have to work things out in my mind. I was a slave to sin for 30 years of my life and my only sense of church was as the world would see it and now I proceed as scripture lays it out. So when I see "Christian
