I knew someone would come up with a Macro for this! By the way I am using this on Mac with Word 2011 and it works perfectly. I'll try to think of any possible improvements. Thanks!

I like the fact you get the TOC in Logos with the books and chapter. The linking works well. I'm debating in my head whether I'd use one big document or split it up for each book of the bible. Now we can use multiple files in Logos it would not impact the end result. But I sometimes find it easier working with smaller word documents.

Halo, this is a fantastic piece of work! Very useful. I can see myself using this (or whatever updated versions you come up with) a lot. As to your question, I'm not sure...

Applescript support would be great. I've written a few which trigger menu options or key presses (e.g. copying a selected text to word in a set format and copying a link to logos of that text) but lots of menus (e.g. right click on a word) can't be dealt with this way. Or at least I don't know how to.

I just got my email!

I really love the first beta of of PBB. I know it is going to make my study and sermons much more integrated with Logos. One thought/suggestion is on citations. I know that the links (and footnotes) aren't working yet, but it would be great if when they are as well as the citation being a footnote when it is copied into word, the citation was also a

I should have said, that is Logos 4 that I run via Parallels - so therefore it is not a downgrade doing this (though it would be nice not to have to) I do also have the old one (v3) but only use this to look at some pbb books I have - nothing else.
-
If I am going to use Logos for over 10 minutes (in other words most of the time) then I tend to run it via parallels at the moment. I just find it much smoother and faster. That said the Mac version is getting better with each release - but for me it still not as good as running it via parallels.

This feels much more responsive to me than the previous versions. Good update. I find it amazing I can read almost any book in my library on my way to work!

Hi Nicky, I agree with Zachary, Good Reader is great. I love being able to highlight or make comments my notes or whatever I'm reading.

I am using OS X 10.6.6 and Logos Bible Software 4.2a SR-1 (4.21.5.0790). Other than turning it on in the services menu I didn't have to do anything... to get it to work. I do also have parellels and Logos on there, but this doesn't get activated when I use it.
-
Mmmm. That is promising. I would expect if it was totally unsupported it would not have the menu at all...
-
I wonder if some other function in Word is hogging those shortcuts? You could try to assign a different shortcut and see if that works? I don't have word but I've tried it in a few other applications (not ones I would ever use it in - but just to test) and it works in them...

Thanks Mark, Now... do I watch the football highlights or your video... I think I will compromise & do both!

This is a great little feature in the new Mac release. In an y application that lets you use the services menu (e.g. pages) just highlight a verse reference such as Mark 1 and click [Shift] [cmd] e. Viola! The verse/s appear as though you had used the copy bible verses function, although with ludicrously fast speed! This is is going to be a great time

Thanks Frank for the list and document. I am thinking how I can improve my tagging use now! Another good thing with collections is you can combine tagging and ratings together. So you might have tagged 50 resources as archeological. With a collection you could then search through them all, or just your 5 star books. Tags and collections together are

Hello, I run a website that reviews free Christian resources, and after a years break I am back to posting articles again. However, I couldn't see what free books you get from Logos, it says you get 30 free books when you sign up for a free account (as well as other bibles you get free immediately). The trouble (well, blessing really!) is that as an

I'm not as prolific as Mark in my collections - but agree ranking resources is very worthwhile. I similarly use 4-5 for superb resources. 3 for pretty good resources. 2 for items I'm not sure about (i.e. not had time to look at the book at all and don't know the author). And 1 for items I don't really expect I'll look at - but at the same time don't

Hi Chuck, I am also doing a similar thing. I have so far split my library into the main segments of church history and then allocated the people I am particularly interested in for the period. I've done this with collections (and tags). For most key authors I just get the collection to look at the author. But I also have a tag for each collection for
