• Re: Not available in your country getting ridiculous
Thanks for asking this question!! I sought the answer from the combined wisdom of others at Faithlife. The trigger for rights restrictions is apparently the billing address of the card you use. "... it is not IP based but by billing/shipping address, so [if] they would be able to adjust that (which would require a payment
For the time being, we can only sell HarperCollins Christian Publishing (HCCP) books inside the US on Faithlife Ebooks. That includes the rights to Thomas Nelson and Zondervan titles. We are working to renegotiate international rights with HCCP and hope it will be a speedy process. However, a timeline for when international
My Faithlife wishlist is getting bigger and is mainly populated by HarperCollins books that I can't buy - and quite a few are in series or by authors that I've been able to buy until recently from Faithlife. It's frustrating!
+1 on this

  • Re: Zondervan resources sale

I know it's very, very unlikely, but Faithlife, how about you locking in the prices for those of us with international restrictions that want to buy from the sale so that if/when the restrictions are lifted we can then buy at the sale price & you make money?

  • Re: @FL: Sales & Country Restrictions

I also understand your frustration Armin as I originally bought this up a couple of months ago as I have purchased half of a set of books before the country restrictions kicked in Faithlife did advise they are working on renegotiating the deal I was talking about (HarperCollins i think) but would be keen to know if there's been any progress as I really
Price for me is about $195, but then, I own the JPS Torah Commentary, most of the John Walton books, the IVP dictionaries, the Anchor Bible Dictionary...
Thanks Ben. Hopefully there's something similar in the future with resources I already own so I can get a more affordable deal

Thanks all, there are quite a few commentaries & data sets I don't already own so had a feeling this was legit but should I be bothered that I don't see the "Nephilim-Sized Savings" as the original poster has put? Just don't want to be missing out if I can save a heap

How is everyone's price so low? I'm a connect subscriber too so not sure if that should make a bigger difference

I also wonder if there's an opportunity for Faithlife to give us a heads up in future when it comes to publisher restrictions. Surely they know in advance that publisher "ABC" is deciding to not release products outside of the US from such & such a date so it gives us advance warning & maybe we could buy up some resources. As we say down under

I'm assuming you also pay with a US debit/credit card?
Yes, that's what I meant by a US billing address. My initial assumption would be that this is the only thing that really matters.
Thanks for that. Over here the billing address is our actual physical address hence my question. And

Rueben, I'm assuming you also pay with a US debit/credit card? I did think of the VPN option & it sounded strange to me when I was told. Thing is, I changed my address to where I'll be staying in the US & used a VPN to test out that theory but still no good. I'm assuming it's because I was using my aussie debit card as payment. Also tried using

Yep not allowed in Australia either as I bought this up a few days ago. I have half the volumes of That the World May Know discovery guides & went to buy them last week to no avail, along with any other Zondervan title it seems Upon using logos chat I was told that requirements to get around this are a US postal address, US debit/credit card &

Thanks for the reply Graham. I was kinda hoping that when I'm in the USA I could but them then since I'd be in the country where it would be distributed. A bit like buying a physical book not available here but taking back home on the plane with me. Can anyone from faithlife confirm please?

  • Country Restrictions on ebooks

So I am a big fan of the That the World May Know series of videos & have purchased 8 of the 15 books previously when finances have permitted but as I was going to purchase more of the series yesterday I see this "Unable to distribute Israel's Mission Discovery Guide: A Kingdom of Priests in a Prodigal World to your country." I'm assuming this boils
JPS resources are absolutely legit , some of the best Jewish scholarship available. I think I own every JPS resource available in Logos. My point was that they translate Dt 6:4 as "alone" rather than "one" in spite of the fact that it can be used to bolster the position of those (like us) who hold to a complex monotheism even though
