Price wise this looks about right from the Logos 6 upgrade. I had issues in the past with upgrading because I was on the old Original Languages package, which was scrapped for the Biblical Languages package. There was some confusion in Logos about these packages and they originally wanted to charge me full price for BL. Do you know if there have been

Hello all - I ran an exegetical guide for the first time in Logos 6 and have come up with some minor, but annoying, formatting issues. In particular, the text is out of alignment and therefore a verse can be missing, while others have only half the letters visible. I have attached a couple of screen shots are examples. I have run multiple searches and

Hi guys - Nothing seems to have moved with this, maybe we could try and use the user voice function? I would suggest adding some other Christian philosophers to the list though. ie Plantinga, Marilyn McCord Adams, Evans & Manis's intro, Thiselton's dictionary, William Lane Craig's reader. Most of the resources available now amount to pop philosophy

Thanks Alabama - The laws allow for a chapter (unless, as you say, the publisher does not allow it) to be distributed for academic purposes only and a federal copyright notice has to be attached as well.

Hi Guys - I am sure this has been asked and dealt with previously, but can't seem to find to it. I am wanting to export a dictionary article and book chapter to hand out in a class. Does the Logos end user license allow this? The books are in the library, but an export looks far better than a scanned copy (and less time). Cheers Clayton

Hi Matt - That also happens to me. When I simply quit the comparison window the drop down stays up even when I minimise or close the whole window. When I open it again it's still there. I have to quit Logos completely to get rid of it. On your question - If you have a look at the screen shot earlier in this thread you'll see just above the drop down

Hi Graham - I am on a mac. The text comparison actually works fine. The preferences panel however keeps opening whenever I change verse (either in the tool or via a linked panel). I have attached a screen shot to show you what I mean. The only way I can get rid of this drop down panel is by pressing enter inside the text bos where you type in your versions

Hi Guys - The text comparison preferences window (where you choose versions ect) keeps opening when I move through text and covers the actual text. The only way I can close the window is by putting the curser in the box that lists the versions and press enter. The window goes away until the next time I change verses. It happens if I'm using the comparison

Thanks everyone for your quick responses. The 'last updated' helps only somewhat as a heap of resources seem to have been updated as part of the L5 upgrade. It does give me a good indication though. I'll give Logos a call to find out why when I browse products, resources I purchased are not shown as already purchased. Thanks again

Sorry for the long Subject line... I recently upgraded from Original to Biblical Languages as part of the Logos5 upgrade. There are two issues I'm having with even knowing what I purchased. The first is that no one seems to be able to tell me what I have purchased. The salesman read out a few of the big ticket items and because the upgrade only cost

Hi Dustan - I often look at the prices of books at other sites, however, it's not always a fair comparison. Most of the Logos books are not simply the digitising of paper copies, but need to have the logos capabilities built into the book/resource. Which takes time and therefore money.

Does anyone have any information about the Biblical Languages Package? Logos said they have it, but their system was going too slow to give any real details about it.
-
There must be some miscommunication going on here, because when I spoke to Logos they informed that my upgrade from Languages L4 to Languages L5 would cost $637 (about $200 more than what I paid for L4) and I would only get a couple of extra resources plus the L5 features - and I'm not even sure if it was all of them. Therefore, I would be paying even

I think this is a great idea. Having spent over $3,700 in the past 12 months on resources, I'm astounded to have been told this evening that I need to spend another $637 to get the features of Logos5. This is the Biblical Languages package which I already have, meaning, if I had of followed the salesman's advice, I would have paid twice for many resources

Hi Alabama - Sorry about the double post. It wasn't until I had sent it that I realised I was posting in the wrong forum... I should have also said in my post that I was sharing from the iPhone (so I could be in the wrong section still), so I don't think I get the option you asked about. I have attached a couple of screen shots to show what I mean by

Hi guys - I recently began using Faithlife and have run into an issue that I would appreciate some help with. I was using faithlife with the ESV and shared a verse with a group. The share function worked as it should have, however when I changed back to the Lexham and tried to share a verse it comes up as the ESV in the share function. How do I share

Hi Guys - I recently started using faithlife and ran into a small issue with the sharing facility. I was reading the ESV and shared a verse with a group. It worked as it should have, however when I went beck to the LEB and tried to share another verse to a group it stayed with the ESV. How to I share a verse of from the version I am reading?

Hi Guys - just wondering if there has been any update to this issue? I recently went back to using a bible reading plan on Logos - which I had done in the past - only to find Logos crashes as soon as I click on a prescribed reading plan under the 'all passages' button. It doesn't matter which bible or plan. I think I have attached the log if that helps

Hi - is there any real use for the exegetical guide notes? I don't seem to be able to export them anywhere, they don't appear in the normal notes section and they disappear if I do a new search. I am sure there is a use for them but can't seem to find a video or anything on Logos wiki. Cheers Clayton

Hi Guys I purchased my base package via email through the sale department and got a discount (I'm guessing the academic discount , which was about 30%). However, I didn't realise there was an actual program and have spent about $1200 on resources this year (not including the base package). Does anyone know if Logos has been know to give a 'store credit
