  • CPU at 100% even after closing L4

When using L4 my CPU goes up to 100%. When I close the Logos it remains at 100%. The only way to get everything back to normal is to restart Windows 7 and after that everything is fine until I open L4.

[quote user="Rick Hypes"] When you hit Ctrl + Alt + Del and bring up the task manager, what task(s) is it showing that are using excessive CPU? To find out, choose the "Processes" tab and then click on the CPU row to show which are taking up all of the CPU. This will maybe help us determine if it is Logos or something else. [quote user="Michael Birney"] Thanks for responding, I have given up on any feedback in this area, at least until an iPad competitor came out with something running the Google operating system. The iPhone and iPad have apps for their operating system, and the new google phones do not work in the cloud, they have apps that run on the google operating

I just want to see http://lib rary.logos.com//beta=true developed more full as this solves many cross platform problems.Would be nice for it to sync with my account for example. I like the home page on l4 and this would look great in a browser.

The key phrase in my post is; "or let customers have access to purchases they have made outside the App Store" This would mean that even books purchased on your PC or Mac could not be used on the iphone/ipad.

  • Transferring from Windows to Mac

When transferring to a new windows machine, I simply copied the l4 folder to the new computer instead of downloading. I am now purchasing a MacBook Air and I wonder whether I can copy the files across from my windows machine or will that cause problems?

  • Printing

When printing a Note directly from Logos 4, I find that all the cut and pasted Bible verses just turn to a random bunch of characters. Not so if I cut and paste to word. Kind of irritating because I use Google Docs and it doesn't like the RTF file generated by L4. :(

  • Updates on O SX

I recently switched from windows to Mac and have had a reasonably trouble free experience with Logos on this platform. However, when I received updates on windows, the download would resume downloading, upon restarting, at the point I left it. On Mac this is not the case and so I am continually restarting the current updateof 226.7 MB every time I restart

Not just collaborative; I use several devices. When at home, I want a high spec computer that can run graphics programs and give me the best of programs like Logos 4. When I travel I want light weight and low cost (for when I get robbed!). The first time I was robbed of a laptop (I am a missionary in africa) I lost all my work but that cant happen now

However, this standard is still maturing, support for it is not complete and widespread. I believe I've read that Logos wants to enable offline access through HTML 5 but it will take some time

[quote user="Benjamin Galan"] I've tried the iPad, but I'm not very impressed. I rather do my reading in a Nook or a Kindle. I try to only buy "reference" books for my Logos 4 now, since I spend all day working with a computer and do not want to do any reading on a LCD screen. If I could read my Logos books in my Nook, I'd buy many more books to just

  • Re: App Freezes

I tend to use online books as I need to access several resources unless I just want to read a monograph. Downloading multiple resources onto the iPad would be very slow, besides using up much of my over priced Kenyan data allowance and filling the limited iPad storage. It would be great if I could transfer resources via USB like I can with my kindle
