Thanks for the help - it is back working again so I will assume that indexing was going on ... despite there being no overt indication of it. It wouldn't be the first time that the indexing has appeared to be done but ...
Hi can you post your system specs? Thanks.
Same problem here, only I'm on XP.
You may also follow Chris's link for the EnableLogging.js file and post the logs here, or start a new thread, the logs are necessary for us. Thanks

Now here is the real reason: I like the classy persoalized leather portfolio packaging! Had I read the sales pitch page instead of studying the contents page I would have ordered the DVD in the neat packaging. Is there any way a user can get it after the order has been processed as a download
Hello, Anyone know where I would locate the BiblePlaces.com Image Library within Logos 4? Thanks!
Tools-->Biblical Places... Is this what you are looking for? EDIT: Try typing Bibleplaces.com in the command bar up top. Thanks everyone who cleared this up for me.
When I am in the detailed Library view, I can sort my library by simply clicking on any column heading. But, having sorted once, is it possible to then do a second sort ? I have searched all through the videos and the help files but I cannot find any reference to this. I have also experimented with several keyboard/mouse click combinations
I don't think so. After your reply, I deleted the "updates.db" file again and got another 27mb of downloads. No way to tell what it is. It is still downloading, so I don't know if I am in for another indexing or not this time. Jerry
It seems you are using an older service release, try typing in Update now in command
Thank you, that helps me sync layouts but it does not sync the reading position. For example: I am reading in my utmost for his highest--today nov 19, I move forward to nov 22 but that move is not reflected on the laptop.
Edit: You can use a bookmark to save your current position, usually the day of the year books

Please follow Thomas's link and post the log, this will help us uncover the problem faster (I cannot reproduce this issue). Thanks.

I just created a favorite in IE and drag-dropped it directly from the favorites bar into Logos shortcuts bar and it worked.. Is there a different way you are doing this?

Thank you - I didn't see that. Probably the most common reason for asking on the forum. There was another quirk. I starting setting it up so close to midnight that when the reading plan showed I was already behind!
MJ Just discovered that setting the range for a reading plan does not always
Ooops, forgot my log files.... http://community.logos.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files/78/5557.Logos4.log
Thanks for the log.
When choosing a specific Bible in the Morphological Search in a Visual Filter, the choices in the tagging list sometimes show inappropriate options. For example, the NA27 Greek New Testament sometimes defaults to Anderson-Forbes Aramaic, which is clearly impossible. It does not always do this, but here is a reproducible sequence

Its okay, I think we were able to reproduce this here earlier today.
I realize everyone is in love w/ 4...but I'm not. It may have plenty of capability, but it is loaded with extraneous crap and despite obvious effort to give it plenty of options, it rarely seems to do what I want, in the way I want. There are some things that may potentially become useful to me, but getting to that point is

Click on Guides-->Bible Word Study, and type in boast into the text box and hit [enter]. Scroll down to the 'Greek Words' section of the results and notice it shows all the greek words boast translates to, you can mouse over each colored section of the ring and it will bring up a new picture describing that word and all its meanings. Does this help
I only get one hit and that take me back to the verse I am look at.
How many resources do you have? Unfortunately there is no export function for BWS right now, you can take a screenshot and paste that into the word document if that helps for now.

Awesome
screen res is 1440 X 900
Okay thanks, it looks like it has these issues when the panel is so narrow. Thanks. (A workaround would be to make the panel wider.)

Thanks I have reported this.
Another issue that is not helping scrolling. Every time I scroll in a Bible, ALL my collections are refreshed. (My Bible is linked to a Greek NT, a commentary and an apparatus.) This presumable is linked to the new PRA feature, but I see no need of it when simply scrolling, and I certainly see no need of it every time I scroll
