Thank you, everyone. I've successfully installed Logos 8 and it is indexing. Looking forward to using it and seeing how it performs. Thanks again for the help in this community. Be blessed, all.

Thanks for the instructions, I was able to get rid of everything and am about to start over. But yes, my installation process is to first unpack the DMG by double clicking, then dragging it to the application folder. For reinstallation, should I download Logos 7 or 8?

Hey forum friends, I haven't been on here in some years but now that I'm back to using a Mac and having some trouble, I'm hoping someone might help me figure out what's happening. I just set up a 2014 MBP i7 2.2GHz running Catalina yesterday and right after signing in to Logos for the installation, the "Setting up Library" was in process then crashed

Logos yields 0 results when searching for lemma:λέγω@VAAI3S in the NA28. It will find the imperfect and present etc., but not the aorist. Strange. But L6 will find the same verb pattern @VAAI3S of other lexica, just not λέγω

I frequently encounter a bug wherein the hyperlinks are unresponsive or behave wonky in the results window after the search is run. For example, the groupings of results randomly expand or close in the "Display by Resource" view. Or the cursor won't become a "hand" and the hyper link is not clickable or the popup view won't display when hovering. Below

Here is the sample from logging 1258.LogosLogs.marknigro.20150316-181939.zip
-
I was able to reproduce it at will. It has to do with the position of the mouse pointer. If the my pointer is near the entry box field, it wants to drop down the menu after the search is complete. I'm trying to upload the sample from the logging utility but the site is not allowing at this time. Will try from home later.

Hi Alan, just letting you know that this dropdown problem is happening quite often with the main search window also. Shall I start a new thread for it?

Switched from Spurgeon's Morning and Evening to another devotional "Take Heart" and L6 disappeared. Logs attached. 5280.LogosLogs.marknigro.20150214-082709.zip

When hovering over a word in the NA28 for the instant info pop-up, the morphological data appears in the upper left hand portion of the screen instead of directly below the pane of the target text. This happens from time to time and I am not sure how to reproduce it. Interestingly, if I switch to a tagged English text like the NASB, it appears correctly

Not a Retina issue. I have the same problem on my MB Air, 13 inch with 1440 x 900 resolution. I was going to report this two days ago but never got around to it. This disotortion of the icons happens in certain views, such as Parallel Resources and Add New Resource to a pane.

Angela, any ETA for the Hebrew Rendering fix on Mac OS?
-
Lol! Yes, get some rest. Seems like you've been busy on this forum all day. Funny, I did a double take when I saw your personal profile picture and had to click it in curiosity to see if it was Alan from Faithlife. Right as I was on your profile, you posted about the mistake.

Alan, yes. Closing all panels changed the scrolling of the ESV. I may have made one mistake testing this now in hindsight. That is, I closed all panels including the ESV, then reopened the ESV to scroll it. Not sure if that voids the test you wanted, but scrolling it by itself was smooth.

Okay, I believe this should do it. Let me know: 2705.LogosLogs.marknigro.20150118-203053.zip

Perhaps I didn't use the utility correctly? I have it enabled but only open it to archive the logs and then close out the application. Is this correct?

Alan Palmer, In this post, I do continuous scrolling but it is very jumpy, stopping and then skipping ahead in chunks of verses. This is in an unlinked ESV. N.B. I had closed out the BHS and Bible Word Study prior to this. Some residual behavior may be present from the Hebrew resource? 1616.LogosLogs.marknigro.20150118-171334.zip Screencast ---> http

Alan Palmer, Not sure if this is worth posting since the problem with Hebrew on the Mac is already known, but I'll go ahead in case this is something more than what has been reported thus far. In this screencast, I have just opened the BHS and double click on טֽוֹב in Gen 1:12 as soon as my mouse is over the word. You'll notice several EDIT: a few second

Alan Palmer, here is a different issue I had alluded to with regard to scrolling. The resource is More Light on the Path. In this screencast, I keep the scrolling going continually but it halts at different points and for varying degrees of time. You'll want to take note in particular of the pause at the 19 second mark, where it freezes for 7 seconds

Hi Alan, Yes, I realized I can record with QuickTime and then found a place to upload videos for the screencasts (screencast.com) where 2 GB are free. Seems like a great place for reporting bugs and other problems temporarily until the space is full. And you are welcome. Honestly, I am glad to help identify problems with L6. I've done this for as long
