• Re: 2% Back

It is a good thing I called because, inexplicably, I too didn't have my email preferences set up properly to receive that particular mailing. All's good now though. Got it and will think about how to spend it. Thanks Faithlife/Logos!
So, how is it that people start wondering about having not received their 2%, when it is still February? Is it worth bothering the customer service of Logos with a senseless inquiry like 'where is my 2%'?
My comment was not coming from a place of either entitlement or impatience, and I frankly don't care for the lecture

  • Re: Bible suddenly appearing in double-paragraph form. Why?

Thanks! It was on "auto" and had always been single column in the past. I had never had to fiddle with that setting. It was actually the verse by verse and the not the paragraph style NASB95. Go figure.

  • Bible suddenly appearing in double-paragraph form. Why?

Opened up Logos this morning and my NASB'95 is in double paragraph form. Never seen that before and can't figure out how to change it back to single column form. Anyone?
I'm curious what other charismatics & Pentecostals think of the new base packages in Logos 8. I wasn't very excited about previous packages, but these look like a huge improvement. What are your thoughts? (BTW, I went with the Platinum package.)
Honestly, it seems heavy on Charismatic theology and very light
Thanks for the suggestions, Gary. It doesn't appear that these resources are available in Logos, or covered by the other resources I checked, and I don't own them. Are there alternative resources that you would call solidly Pentecostal that are available in Logos (preferably with links to sales pages)? On another note,

Nice. But it's missing a couple of solid Pentecostal resources that should be added to at least allow for some representation from that theological line. They are the notes from the "Fire Bible" and the "Full Life Bible Commentary on the New Testament."

Any study of this nature should surely include a book that, unfortunatel, is not offered by Logos - “Life in the Son” by Robert Shank. It provides the perspective of someone who actually moved from one theological position to another. Highly recommended! 🙂

Any discussion of Jesus that even slightly implies He didn't know exactly what was to come - in any way, shape or form - is completely incompatible with Him being God. I understand we discuss things, at times, from a human linear perspective, but it's a slippery slope whenever we suggest Jesus didn't know every single aspect of what the end result of

Is it a for sure thing that the NICOT/NT will be have dynamic pricing? I own 21 of the volumes already, but would pick up the remaining ones as long as dp is applicable.

If you simply type "Pentecostal" into the bar at the top of your library you then look in detail at the contents of the title, subject and other fields you will probably find some books that are in the results which you cannot explain
