On my Mac, I use Time Machine to backup my entire installation. The backup includes Logos 4 files. Every time the notes db is updated, Time Machine makes a backup. If I had a problem with data loss, I would only need to go to Time Machine, and I could restore the notes db. My backups go back several months. And with Time Machine
Without a discrete restore of an item, there is no backup.
No Jim, without a discrete restore of an item there is no selective backup of discrete notes. There is a 'global level' backup of all notes. It's important to make sure people don't get the idea that Logos somehow prevents you copying data on your own machine, or stops

But you can see from my post that I was talking about the very old version, which fitted on a floppy disk and which produced one single file. It did not let you pick out any files at all. It was all or

The word is 'tefillah' from what I can tell, but I don't understand the missing character. I don't believe the word is spelled with an 'e' using a special diacritic which might be missing in that font, is it?
Why is it no one actually showed him how to "search a phrase"? You just talked around the subject.
Thomas did actually tell him to put the phrase in quotes. That's the simplest method.

I have Portfolio, and after hiding a number of resources one by one, I soon came to the realization that it was unfortunately going to be a colossal waste of time. I would love to hide some of the collections and resources by selecting multiple volumes, or even entire series.
If you go to the PrePubs page, and click the order to be by Ship Date, you will see there is only ONE PrePub with a ship date, and it's near the end of the month,. For whatever reason, the shipment of PrePubs has really dried up. That has to be a concern to Logos, as there is big bucks in shipping new resources. I wonder
Memory leaks are not user fixable. They are due to bugs in applications, when the app allocates memory but then never frees it when it doesn't need it anymore. Logos has been guilty of this, and I'm willing to bet MS Office has a few too. Right now Logos is the main app that I spend hours a day using, so I suspect it's Logos

No worries Paul. I would suggest biting the bullet and jumping in with Theological Journal Library, volumes 1-10 . This is one of the best products you can purchase from Logos. In fact I would go so far as to say that if I could only choose ten individual products to purchase from Logos, this would be one of them. In terms of value for money it is simply

Good points Greg, I have found the historical trends fascinating. I love JETS and WTS, but I can't go past BibSac as the venerable grandfather of the lot. Here's a writeup I sent to a friend of mine who was asking about recommended resources. Bibliotheca Sacra is the best of all. It has been for decades one of the premiere Biblical journals, and anyone
